Finally tried Bonefish, was pleasantly surprised! We went for my birthday dinner after reading numerous reviews. We started with the corn & lump crab chowder, which was delicious, it had way more lump crab than it did corn unlike most places that are the opposite, u definitely get a nice amount of crab in it, it was perfectly seasoned and for once EXTREMELY HOT, also unlike most food when dining out, i hate cold food! Then we shared the fried calamari which is very lightly breaded and fried so you're able to actually taste the calamari, it was awesome, and of course I had to get the mussels, i asked for them to leave out the basil that it norrmally comes with and it came out exactly how i requested, they were delicious, i only wish we had gotten 2 orders before I got full! I have been craving surf and turf...so i got the steak & lobster tail, broccoli & garlic mashed potatoes, the steak was PERFECTLY cooked, not overly seasoned at all and the exact temperature i asked for. My husband also had the steak but got his with the crab cake, which was soooo good and way more crab than cake. They definitely use very decent amounts of seafood in their dishes! They also bring out bread along with herb infused pil to dip it in, it was soft and delicious. The front of house manager was very friendly and repeatedly checked on things in the dining area, asked if all was alright with our meals as well as most of the other people, he even bussed numerous tables for the servers so they were able to seat people coming in very quickly. Every good meal needs a good cocktail and I would highly recommend the freshly crushed Pineapple Martini.... it was so good I had 3. My husband had a Dirty Martini that included Blue Cheese inside the ginormous olives and he liked his just as much. My husband's steak was just a tiny bit too rare for him but they promptly took care of that and added a 2nd crabcake to his meal for the inconvenience, which was very nice of them, that being the smallest problem with our order and it was so small i wouldn't even call it a problem, and it definitely wouldn't effect us going there again...it was well worth the money! The place was immaculate, and the booth we sat it was very cozy and comfortable. Finally I will add that we had some of the best service we have ever had in a restaurant since moving here 6 yrs ago, me being a waitress myself know how hard a job it is and truly appreciate an attentive server when we eat out, Amanda was our waitress and she was awesome, definitely a 10! Checked on us numerous times, as well as her other customers, very friendly, got the order perfect and definitely made the dinner even better with the great service. We will most definitely be going there on our next dinner out, I read a few reviews that weren't that good and honestly think everyone has a bad day sometimes so if you didn't have the best experience the 1st time definitely try it again maybe it was just one of their bad days...i have no complaints about anything at all and can't wait to go again!

I went for a birthday dinner celebration in which the customer service was great the food however was Meh! The Pineapple Martini was delicious, however, the food lacked in all areas. Starting out we were brought out some super hard and stale bread which was almost hard enough to compare to croutons and a bowl full of oil and what seemed to be oregano in the bottom of the dish. We stirred it thinking this would help flavor the oil but it felt like we were just dipping the bread in a bowl of vegetable oil. We asked for some fresh bread and butter which was eventually brought out to us. Moving on to our starter we ordered the bang bang shrimp, and imperial seafood dip, among a few other starters... I am going to talk directly about the imperial seafood dip which was just unsatisfactory... it was brought out in a hot dish but the temperature of the dip once stirred up was uneven. It was cold in some areas of the dip and hot in others so it was mixed to try and distribute the temperature evenly... the mozzarella and cheese were overwhelming and just overpowered the whole dish which made it taste like you were eating some old cheese.. the tortilla chips that came with the dip were fresh and seasoned okay... moving on to the entree.... we had some people order steak and shrimp, steak and lobster, chicken and shrimp, and each plate the food was burnt and inedible. The asparagus was labeled on the menu that it was seasoned yet it had no seasoning on it .. we had to season it ourselves and it was very withered like it was warmed up and placed on the plate...mashed potatoes were okay...One person asked for it to be removed from their bill while 4 others asked for the meat to be recooked. We understood the restaurant was closing but to send this type of food out was unsatisfactory. We got there after 8 pm so no reason it should have been this way. We spoke with the manager who was very professional and apologized multiple times and had them remake the food...as well as deducted 20% off our bills. We were appreciative of the willingness to go above and beyond to make it right. So the 1 star was only for the food, but the service and professionalism received a 5. That's what I can appreciate.

Started of okay but grew increasingly worse as we sat at the table waiting. Drinks came pretty fast but we ordered the mussels for an appetizer... Took a while. And though I stressed gluten free no bread. It came with a bunch of bread on the side. Wasnt touching the mussels. So after removing the bread...I tried eating some of the mussels only to find them cold and a good dozen of them weren't open. So you don't eat those... Not good. Then we waited for dinner for at least an hour... Was going to ask for the check but the waiter said let me see if I can get it for you. So 10 minutes later he comes out with our plates. I had gotten broiled mahi mahi with shrimp and mashed potatoes... Steamed spinach. The fish was to have a light citrus sauce... It came out blackened. We just wanted to leave at that point because we were still 1.5 hours from home and it was getting late. The mashed potatoes were cold... Spinach cold. Fish luke warm. I ate the shrimp... Not thinking... Then recalled there were no blackened items on the gluten free menu... Now am hoping there wasn't something in the blackening spice the was not gluten free. The waiter also didn't bring the salsa that was to come with it so I had to ask him for it. I don't like blacked items and this was very thick and spicy... So I gave the fish to my husband. ... So I have been looking up blackening to see if any have gluten in them. Not seeing any... But another hour should tell. I react and get ill about two hours after I ingest gluten. I should have refused to eat it... But it was such a mess already and I was still hungry. Think twice before going to this place. I have been to other Bonefish grills with no problems... This this one was kind of a disaster.

UPDATE: Visited Bonefish for the second time. Placed a phone order and when my boyfriend went to go pick up the food the server forgot to put it in!!! 😂

I visited Bonefish for the very first time last night with my boyfriend, and I'm not entirely sure if I will return. We arrived a little after 9PM, (they close at 10:30PM), thinking we were arriving early enough to have decent service, but unfortunately that was not the case. I didn't get our servers name but he was kind and laid back. He told us we would be brought bread once it finishes baking, which took 30 minutes. We went ahead and ordered appetizers since the bread wasn't ready (the pot stickers were pretty darn good!) I ordered a burger and my boyfriend ordered an 18oz. steak and a couple beers. Each time he ordered a beer it took over 10 minutes to be brought to us even though there was only one couple in the restaurant besides us and the restaurant was fully staffed. (I visibly watched 3 coworkers stand around the bar talking to each other while we waiting for the beers.) Once we were brought our food things didn't get much better. My boyfriends entree was fine but my food was taken back twice. Once because the server said my fries were cold, and the second time because the cooks left the 'secret sauce' on the burger that I asked to be left off. So after waiting for another 30 minutes for my entire order to be remade, while my boyfriend went ahead and ate without me, (keep in mind we have been here for over an hour and it is now closing time), I finally get my burger. I took a few bites but after waiting for a hour and a half for my food I wasn't very hungry and took it to-go. The server could tell during our whole time dining there that we weren't having a good experience at all and apologized many times. We weren't offered a discount but we were offered a free dessert (which was also asked to be to-go due to the time). Overall the food was okay, but after waiting an hour and a half for a $14 burger and no discount, I was not impressed at all by Bonefish. I understand it's late but I shouldn't come into a nice restaurant like Bonefish and not only hear employees in the kitchen cussing and goofing off, while also having bad service.

2/5 stars for me.. I...
