As a former employee, I am aware that customer service is the foremost responsibility and goal of the store. Yet, as I came in to shop today, I was both disappointed and disgusted by what I saw and heard. To begin with, I heard the manager of the store, Julia S., instructing the employees not to help me or offer me any kind of service as I was shopping for an outfit, as a customer. Though the staff was kind and sensible enough to assist me with the basics (such as zipping a dress or getting an item from high up), she berated them for that as well. Secondly, though I had no interaction with her, she complained about my presence in the store as well as going as far as to instruct the staff that no one should ring me out or put an item on hold for me, for whatever reason. Though this is the same discrimination and harassment I faced while I was employed there, it is heartbreaking to see it happen as a customer. I was kind enough to ensure any dresses I tried on were hung and put away properly & kept my interaction with the staff minimal so I would not interrupt their work, yet I was still spoken poorly of for simply shopping. I am unsure of what causes her jealousy or anger towards me, but I am tired of being harassed just for my presence, especially two months after I have left the store. Though I enjoy the store, I am unsure if I will return as a customer due to the constant...
Read moreI was greeted upon entry as always and advised I was just looking. I was in there for no more the 5 minutes before the manager approached me and asked if I needed help finding anything. I told her that I was indecisive about my options. She was nice enough to try and help me pick out a few options, but became annoyed the more I said no to what she suggested and eventually walked away.
I then tried on a few dresses and changed my mind on what I thought would work. As I was looking for something else to wear, I was approached by someone else asking if I needed help. I said no, then 2 other employees walked over and pretended to check the clothing racks infront of me and walked away. I was then approached by a third employee asking if I needed help. I had her point me in the direction of something else and was approached by a fourth employee asking the same question.
Needless to say I felt watched and uncomfortable. The cashier barely made eye contact with me and barely opened her mouth to speak. Then as I readird to pay using Google pay the manager walked up and told me they don't accept apple pay. Although I know they accept Google pay, I paid with my card and then she walked away. There is no way I will be shopping at this...
Read moreThis store is very unprofessional. I bought two dresses from this store and one of the dresses I noticed after I bought it had a pull on bottom of the dress. Although it was a special occasion dress the dress was defected. They claimed I could not return the defected dress because they cannot prove I did not wear the dress. So they are insinuating that I could be lying. As someone who worked in retail for years you should never tell your customer that you cannot prove that the defect was there when they bought it. It was insulting the way they handled this issue. The dress has not been worn and tags are still on. I have shopped here for years and have never returned anything, yet the one time I bought something that was defected they refuse to give me my money back in the form I paid for it. No store should value itself on not returning merchandise that is defected regardless of the “special occasion policy”. That is completely and utterly unreasonable. Horrible management at this store and would not recommend anyone...
