I went to Zales to buy a necklace for my beautiful wife. I went into the store and stood at the counter. While I was waiting, people were coming into the store and getting help even though I had been standing and waiting for about 15 minutes. At one point, a family came into the store. A young AA woman finished with a client, turned and said 'who's next?' I said 'I was here first I have been standing here for 15 minutes'' -- what I got was a rude response from this 'customer service' person. I asked another woman if she would just tell me the price of the Morganite necklace that caught my interest, that's all that I asked. Apparently, the lack of acknowldgement was no, you can't have a price -- However, the next stop was Heltzberg jewlers. And man, I was happy that I did. The manager and young lady working the counter welcomed me, spent time with me, and worked to find a way to give me the best possible deal. I was happy to buy a ruby on a gold chain surrounded by diamonds. Really nice people. I was happy to spend money at Heltzberg, the manager and young lady were so nice. I strongly recommend Heltzberg in the Governors Square Mall. If you go, talk to the manager, he's great guy, they will do everything they can to...
Read moreHad a wedding ring set (engagement ring and wedding bad) sent off for repair that was suggested by the store associate for a loose diamond. After 3 weeks of waiting we finally got the rings in. Picked up the rings, wife says something just doesn’t seem right, I said probably just not use to wearing them for 3 weeks. Once we get home my wife starts noticing bands don’t match at starts comparing them to our wedding photos of the original set. The wedding band was different. Different size, one less diamond, and different settings. Basically, go back store assistant manager says ring is the same (clearly not) and doesn’t want to hear or even look to compare the photos we have to the actual ring. Complete rip off!!!! BBB was notified, and possibly a small claims court case...
