Aurora provided excellent customer service. She offered us water and showed me a variety of rings. The reason why I'm giving 2 stars is due to their doorman who didn't great my son and I, even after I said hello. I even asked him "don't you say hi" and he said "how are you doing?" When I left he didn't say goodbye or a single word. I went to Tiffany's where I'm always treated with great respect and courtesy. I bought a ring there instead. I liked another ring at David Yurman but I had to share my experience with Aurora in regards to her doorman, who again didn't greet me and when I left, didn't say a word either. I'm sorry that excellent sales persons such as Aurora loose business due to the uncomfortable and unpleasant experience their doorman is. I told Aurora, I would like to come back and buy the other ring, but I will not visit that store as long as that doorman is there. I did hear the doorman say goodbye and have a nice evening to other customers, and I don't want to say it's discrimination but his actions should really...
Read moreThis is the WORST David Yurman I have ever been in. Coming from Philadelphia and NYC and after reading the reviews, the people of Tampa have no idea what real shopping is or what a Yurman store should look like and be. I stopped in on a recent shopping trip with my daughter to inquire about a diamond missing from one of my rings and to potentially purchase another one. I asked to have my rings cleaned as I saw the inventory in this store is very low and not up to typical Yurman standards. Upon return, my rings looked yellow and dull and the sales person (clearly unprofessional looking and not polished) did not want to acknowledge it. I asked for the manager who had such a bad attitude it made my daughter uncomfortable. He told me that my rings are “OLD” and would never look shiny again!?! I am completely appalled as I have been a Yurman customer for over 25 years. Not to mention this mall is a far cry from a real mall up north and I am surprised that DY would even have a store here....
Read moreBought a sterling silver chain 3 months ago, with a black onix pendant for my wife for Christmas. The chain snapped in half. The same lady who sold it to me (short white hair, and has an accent from a different country) told me to take it to a repair shop for a cheaper and quicker repair, and they refused to exchange it. Sterling silver should not just snap in half. I have bought multiple items for myself over the years from DY, I have a sterling silver chain as well, and have never had an issue. The fact that I am a loyal customer and they won't exchange it for a new chain is ridiculous. Also every time I have gone to the tampa location the same lady has not once offered me a cleaning. I asked her I wanted to see the blue stone for my wife's chain if I liked it more than the black onix, and she kept showing me a white topaz, saying it was the blue one, when I told her it wasn't blue at all, she claimed it was a...
