Great American Cookies — Local services in Tampa

Of all of the Great American cookie locations I visited, this one is the worst. The service wasn’t bad. They actually had a good system going where one person would get the order together, and a separate employee would ring up customers at the register. This was important because they had a long line at the time. They were being efficient. AND the cookies were fresh, still moist.

Unfortunately the shop is only half of the size of all the other great American cookie locations that I’ve visited, so they have little to choose from. They are lacking in variety. None of their cookies have cute decorations on them like at all the other locations, so if you are looking for a cookie with icing on it, don’t bother going there. Nobody there knows how to decorate cookies.

That’s why this location gets two stars. Service was decent, cookies were fresh; but the location is too small, not offering enough variety, and no ability to nicely ice/decorate the cookies. It’s the first time I’ve seen a...

Do not order from this place! We ordered large sugar cookie cake for my daughter’s birthday, paid the EXTRA charge for the sugar cake only to pick up the cake the morning of the party and it be chocolate chip! My daughter is allergic to chocolate which was the reason for sugar cookie. Of course there was nothing the person working could do since I needed it right then. You can imagine how upset my daughter was when I brought it home for her party. I asked for the manager to call me back because it was Memorial Day and no manager was working. No one called me back so I called back a few days later and a lady who said she was an assistant manager told me her manager was on vacation and she wanted them to be able to enjoy the time off and would have her call me within a few days for a refund. It’s now been over a week and no one has called or sent a refund! The assistant manager kept saying she would make sure she calls me back by Sunday. VERY TERRIBLE COMPANY! Poor management. ITS VERY SAD THAT CORPORATE DOESN'T PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THEIR ESTABLISHMENTS, MY DAUGHTER WORKED AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND THEY HAVE A JOKE WITH THEIR HOURS!! SCHEDULES ARE SENT THRU TEXT MESSAGES AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE PENDING AND NOTHING FOR SURE BUT IF THE EMPLOYEE LATER SAYS THEY CANT MAKE IT THEY GET UPSET. NO ORGANIZATION, THE NEW MANAGER NICK WITH HIS PERSONAL PROBLEMS LEAVING MY DAUGHTER A MINOR RUNNING THE STORE ON HER OWN BECAUSE HE NEEDS HIS SMOKE BREAKS EVERY FIVE MINUTES!!! ON TOP THAT MANAGEMENT WOULD TAKE THE EMPLOYEES TIPS UNTIL A CLIENT DID A COMPLAINT. TUESDAYS IS THEIR PAY DAY AND SOMETIMES THEY DON'T SEE THEIR CHECKS TILL THURSDAY WHEN THEY GET PAID EVERY TWO WEEKS!!!
