Picker Place Market — Local services in Tampa

The place was very nice. My only concern was I found three books that I have been looking for as I started to carry them around a man approached me and said give me those books and I’ll put them up front not may I take those books upfront and hold them for you? I have been in there before but this time I had a person of color with me, I was never approached on caring items around the store. As a white person if I notice the prejudice, I’m sure people of color would also notice the discrimination. There was other people in there picking up items that were not told to take them to the counter. If that is your policy you need to post it upfront, so it doesn’t become an issue...

Hands 🙌🏻 down best antique spot for gifts. It’s hard to come out empty handed as you legit find unique items for all ages (and family members). There are cute charcuterie/ kitchen items for Mom/Sister/Gay Bff, there are beer taps for every guy's man cave and legit so much more. You can check out their glasswear and vases (all stunning). They even had a BUNCH of vintage toys (made me super nostalgic) but would make great gifts for some kiddos. Seriously, there is something for everyone! Everything is also super affordable! They have strange hours so deff mark your cals to give them a check out.

All I can say about this place is "Wow"! My wife and I love antiques and so I surprised her with this visit for our anniversary. I had no idea what to expect, but knew I did well when we walked in the door. We were like kids in a candy store! So many cool items, lots of collectibles from the local Ybor City history. We ended up purchasing not only small knick knacks, but a beautiful antique China cabinet piece, so come prepared! The employees offered great customer service and the owner was awesome and helpful, we will be back for sure! We felt like we were living out an episode of "American Pickers"! ...
