I read the reviews, and everyone had kind words for the owners and the shop. We were excited to visit the shop and knew we’d love it because of the reviews. I had my eye out for a hat in the window. This shop has beautiful hats. When we walked in, they didn't say hello but advised us how to handle a hat. I asked the lady if she had a trash can, and she rudely said no. I’m unsure if it was due to us bringing our 16 and 11-year-old kids to the store. We informed the kids not to touch anything before entering the store. Made me feel like Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman, having people judge us based on our appearance. Extremely horrible customer service. And to think we planned on buying three hats, so...

Look no further than this hat shop! I’ve been looking for a nice quality hat for a long time, and I thought I’d give this shop a try. My experience was lovely. They were incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely eager to help me find the right hat and so excited when I decided on one. The shop is only 4 months old in Taos, but they’ve been in the hat business for 20+ years. She looked at my head and knew exactly what to try. The guy manning the shop was very pleasant and helpful when I asked questions, and the overall atmosphere of the shop was really nice. There’s a great selection of hats from Stetson, Scala, and some other makers, with prices ranging from $70 to the $300 range, so there’s something for everybody. No used hats as far as I could see.
