I used to come to this restaurant and it would knock my socks off. Went today. Stay home and make your own salad for sure. At least don’t order the chicken salad ā€œwith tart cherries, beets, roasted pecans…. ā€œ For $12 I got a plate of greens, about 5 cubes of chicken (let’s say 1/2ā€to 1ā€ cubes) I had to look hard for the tart cherries and only found 3. Found 2 pecans and maybe 6 strips of beets. The dressing tasted good, what I could taste of it. I like light dressing, but this was more like spraying perfume and walking through it. The cracker was good. I paid a tip. She brought the salad to the table Thats it. I got my own water (not a big deal I know) you are expected to bus your own dishes Not sure why I tipped they probably pay ā€œserversā€ minimum wage so I don’t mind contributing. But….. the ambiance is nice and I like running into friends. I make much better...

Custom Order prepared at Perfection

A custom order quiche that was a little out of the ordinary. No problem for Manzanita Market. The baker, Jeff, talked with me at the Market and then over the week-end. When I picked up the order on Monday, it looked perfect. The customer service was just as it should be. Then when the custom quiche was part of our afternoon celebration, it tasted of perfection! The quiche tasted smooth on the tongue with such good flavor. The crust! Oh, that I could make a crust that was as beautiful, crisp and so good. Our celebration was perfect. Thank yon Jeff and staff at Manzanita Market. An asset to...

If you love cigarette smoke and vapid food, this is the place for you. Quality of ingredients is inconsistent and I stopped going after they started using cheap sliced turkey from the supermarket for their Gobbler sandwich. There are benches out front where a whole group of people smoke cigarettes and the smoke wafts through the entire place, it's gross. The coffee is an absolute joke, you're better off getting a cup at McDonald's. The whitewashed atmosphere and terrible music they play also does not appeal to me. Go anywhere else for food, this place is not worth it...

Dark Chocolate & Tamarind in Taos — A New Mexico Must-Try!

Fresh flowers. Gluten-free options. Don’t be afraid of the line. They work quickly. They make their own bone broth. Fresh salads. Amazing gluten free bread and sourdough. They even have a blue corn bread. Salads, sandwiches, soups and bowls. A nice break from all the cheese I have been eating ay other places;). Fresh. Delicious. We went two times while in Taos. It’s the way I would like to eat every day of my life.

To be frank we didn’t plan to eat there. We took a spontaneous trip with our friends to Taos only to find out that most of the restaurants and shops were closed on Tuesdays. The lack of choices took us to this place. But we were glad to have came across this place because the people there were very friendly and the food was very good as well. They might have just gained a regular customer.
