Burlington — Local services in Taylor

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at this store. I visited with my 4 year son and 4-month-old daughter and the staff's behavior was completely unacceptable. I felt targeted and stalked as staff members followed us through every aisle. The issue began because my son was eating chips that we brought from outside which seemed to cause significant concern among the staff.

The situation escalated when staff falsely accused us of opening a candy pack from the store. She brought a sealed candy package and told us we have to pay for it only because it was just touched by mom son. Even the supervisor came in and two more staffs and kept pressuring me to pay for that item which wasn’t even opened. I asked them to provide proof suggesting they review the security camera footage but instead they changed the subject and continued to make accusations. This experience left me feeling racially profiled and unsafe with my children in the store.

Now looking back I should have called the cops for this behavior and took a legal action. It's happened all of the sudden that's i got so confused and didn't know what to do.This kind of treatment is unacceptable and could happen to any mother. I urge Burlington to investigate this incident thoroughly and take appropriate action, including firing the staff members involved in this mistreatment. Prices have gone up way to much i used to go in there and recommended for everybody around me now I'm just saying go to Walmart cuz all they have now are things that Walmart sells and it's the exact same prices you can get some good deals on something like I got a pair of shoes marked down from $24 to $12 but went to Walmart and found them at $13.99 same brand not on sale so I do not know where they got the $24 price tag from but they were $2 cheaper I guess I bought a pair of Adidas for toddlers at $13 normally went to Walmart got the same pair for $10 check your options before buying from here even if it's just scanning the item on Google and pulling up the other options I got the same outfit from Family Dollar for $8 and then found the two pack that was at Family Dollars for $16 they ended up having them listed for $35 for mark down to $20 so in the end of everything you're not getting a deal you're just getting the common store price wouldn't recommend here if you're going for the discounts because there isn't any Walmart at normal prices and then marked that they were discounted for the consumer to see and purchase because they think they...

I have occasionally shopped at this store for last 10 years. In that entire time I have never ever seen a clean organized store. The place constantly looks like it was struck by a tornado and is just overall a mess. The staff at the front counter/checkout are usually pleasant but definitely are not customer oriented. Since my most recent visit last month I noticed the store had been moved around and all the items were in different locations, you would think this would result in better shopping experience, nope, still the same disorganized mess. And during my visit I noticed a man on the phone who was maybe the manager as he was talking about how he was making improvements and the store is doing much better, etc. I should have interrupted him to remind him the store is still a hot mess, the shoe dept was at its worst with literally no shoes in the correct areas (sizes all mixed up).
