My start was interesting, almost like a deer in the headlights feeling ... but once I got used to the program and how it worked it was great. I am now on Externship, 6 months later, helping and learning in a medical office. It is so interesting to be behind the scenes when I have only ever been a patient. I have enjoyed what I have learned. Classes were challenging and interesting. It is NOT a program you can just fake your way through. YOU have to work at it, do your homework, and study. There are successful people and non successful people and a lot of it has to do with your attitude and your dedication. I know from the location of this place (strip mall) it may look like it may not have a lot to offer, but everything about this place was great from my experience! They have smaller class sizes for a personal and intimate feel. The staff are compassionate, supportive, and patient. The curriculum is taught in a way that is comprehensible. They use a variety of different teaching methods that fit many learning styles. They have shorter programs with me graduating in 6 months. They also have found me many jobs since I have graduated.
