TLDR REVIEW (UPDATED! with convo pics of corp email talk) Terrible. staff seem nice, but management or that specific manager (Amanda) on shift doesn't. Fries were great, but I didn't get all of them that I ordered. Lemonade was great, no complaints there. Subs got me and my friend sick for 6 days after eating there .... probably should do something about that cause it most likely was food poisoning (it was food poisoning!! Had to go to the doctor after day 4 because nothing was stay in my system up or down besides water and some oyster crackers)
Do i think i'll get a refund? No. Does it look like I'm right by them lying and saying their system is still down for a refund? Yes. Do i think they will replace my food after this? I dont care, I'm not risking that. They literally didn't mention us being sick the entire time in emails. Will this review stop potential new customers from going in there? Hopefully this will save them and tell them to go somewhere else.
OVERALL REVIEW: Honestly, the person taking my order was nice and polite but the manager Amanda or the store in general definitely had tense atmosphere. You could just feel it in the air. No talking between staff for most of the time I was in there (which, from a food service worker/manager of 7 years, it tells me something's up). 2 people in the lobby, not including me and my friend, so it wasn't that they were focused on a rush (I could be wrong).
Nonetheless, to the food. We got the chicken parm large sub, a turkey bacon ranch large sub, a large and medium fry, and a regular lemonade. I was missing the medium fry (only found out when i got back home) and when my friend put in a review for her experience and how she didn't get her fry, Amanda responded by saying we didn't order a medium fry. So to Amanda or any manager that sees this, please tell me what the total would be if you add all that together, cause my bank has the total of $46.06 and if I didn't order the medium fry it comes out to below $40.
Updated part: Pettiness is a beautiful thing Mr. Stewart, and I will rather lose the money than see someone else get sick. Because coming from a fast food employee, that's just a...
Read moreWHO WANTS HEPATITIS?!?!? I care what anyone says or thinks. Flat out- it’s nasty! This was from back in the summer when I emailed the district office. Never left a review until now.
Read about the article, out in flint, a few years back where a fast food worker gave 50 people hepatitis because he never wore gloves & constantly stuck their hands into the ice bucket & used cups instead and scoopers!!
The younger blondish hair guy took my order. Pressed all the buttons, took my cash, then went right over to the lettuce & tomato area- shoved his hands in all the food WITHOUT changing gloves- the same gloves that he touched all over the cash register with!!
Then went to get lemonade, used the cup instead of using the scoop, then rang up several other people with the same gloves on, touched all over the screen, then right back to the lettuce & tomato area.
I was disgusted.
Another lady- stank attitude, thin younger white chick that looks like cleanliness was not her style- I said, sorry to bother you, but I want to cancel my order & I want a refund.
She looked FUMING HOT! So did the little feminine sounding dude- now both have MAJOR attitudes towards me. I said listen- either you guys don’t care about proper safety procedures or you weren’t taught- but to repeatedly use the same gloves to touch all over everyone’s money, the screen, & then food you make for people is disgustingly bad. I said, I already left a $2 tip - you guys can keep the tip, I just want my $15 dollars back.
Homegirl, with her attitude, rolled her eyes, refunded my money like I WAS THE BAD GUY, then I walked out.
I was kind, respectful, & polite. But the attitudes up here are off the charts. NONE of them people use the scoop for ice- they use the cups which is nasty! Look at their finger nails!! Either they all are chewed on, or have long nails that don’t look washed, and NONE changed their gloves after touching all over the register, then all the lettuce & tomatoes!!
NASTY!! And unsafe!!
Be...
Read moreI visited this location a couple weeks ago and still cannot get over the experience that I had. I wanted to relax before posting this review because I didn't want to be a bad review if I was just upset. What I've found is that it still lingers on me, even after all this time and I have to be honest about what happened. When I walked in, there were no other customers in the restaurant. It was just about lunch time. The girl taking orders was cleaning something and even though she saw me, it took her a few minutes just to ask what I would like to order. I ordered a sub, fry and drink and proceeded on to the register. I paid for my food and waited. As I waited, three more people came in an ordered. I continued to wait. After I saw two of the three people get their food, I saw what looked to be mine coming from the oven and the employee putting it on a plate for eat-in. I excused myself and reminded her that mine was to-go and the employee rudely replied, "Oh this isn't yours" and proceeded to hand it to the third customer that had ordered after me. I then questioned where my food was at since I had been waiting for over 10 minutes for it. The girl shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know. I asked her to check as I needed to get back to work. She checked and came back explaining that the other girl forgot to make mine and it would just be a couple more minutes. I waited, got my food and rushed back to work. When I got in the car, I took a bite of my fries and realized they were the ones that she had cooked and put in a bag 10 minutes before my sub was ready to go. The fries were soggy and cold. The sub was dry and did not taste like Teriyaki Chicken at all. I will not be visiting again and I suggest you...
