I would like to start this review by saying that Trinity is amazing!

Ava Piercing Co. is one of the best piercing shops around. I was wanting to get a couple piercings done and I didn’t want to go to a tattoo/piercing combo shop. I wanted to go somewhere where they strictly focused on piercing. Through my research in finding a shop, I chose Ava Piercing Co because of their stellar reviews, the detailed information on their website and photos that ensured I would be going to a clean legit establishment.

The booking process was super efficient. Communication regarding my appointment was super easy through both emails and texts.

Arriving for my appt, I was greeted by the friendliest staff ever. Trinity was so great in helping me choose pieces from their very large selection of jewelry. She explained the function of each piece I was looking at and why or why not certain pieces would work or not. She helped me find several pieces that would work for my budget while still accomplishing the look I was going for.

During the piercing process Trinity explained every step while she was piercing me so that I felt comfortable and was aware of everything she was doing. Her aftercare instructions were very thorough as she explained why each step of the aftercare process was necessary.

I’ve been to this piercing shop multiple times in the past few years. My first time I was pierced with Trinity who I assume to be the owner of the shop and I had a great experience, she seemed to have a great energy and fun personality. A time after this I walked in without an appointment just to browse at jewelry and I was met with this passive aggressive attitude from her. Looked at me like I wasn’t supposed to be there and talked to me like it was a problem that I was even there without an appointment. I can understand an appointment policy, but to be treated with a completely different energy than I had had before with her was very surprising and uncomfortable. Since then I’ve purposely booked appointments with another piercer at the shop because of this behavior. And in those times that I’ve gone in I’ve either not been acknowledged by her (as if I haven’t been there multiple times and spent hundreds of dollars there!), seen this same attitude even towards one of her employees, and have been met with her passive aggressive attitude again. So moral of this review is don’t go into this shop if you don’t like fake energy and unless you absolutely have an appointment!!!!
