La Masters ruined what was supposed to be one of the most special and happy days of my life. My now fiancé went in here to buy a ring and planned to surprise me with a beach proposal. He already knew what he was looking for, and knew I was a size 5-5.5 but got a 6 to allow successful resizing if need be. They did not give him the information he asked about the diamond, cut, clarity, or color, and they just gave me a paper with the carat size written with pen. Fast forward to that weekend, he proposed on the beach, and I love the way the ring looked in the box, but when he put it on my finger it immediately fell off. Turns out they sold him a size 7, and when we took it in to be resized with the extra 5 year warranty we added on, they said they could not take it down two sizes to be a 5 without it mis-shaping into an oval and without several side stones falling out. THEN when asked about the diamond information again they said it wasn't a certified diamond and that's why they don't have the information on it. They looked under a scope and then, after already lying about the ring and him buying it, then they discussed the color, cut, and clarity. It is NOTHING like what we wanted and they refuse to put extra work in to resize the ring and make it perfect for us even though we paid the extra money for a warranty. We called Alexander Jewelers in the mall and talked to their manager and he said they can absolutely size down 2 sizes and it be perfect. They also said no stones would come out, and that they would even polish and clean it when they're done. To make it worse, the experience with La Masters was SO bad, that if they don't refund us, Alexander Jewelers would give us the exact same warranty, resize it, plus free cleanings and polishing if we're stuck with the horrible quality ring. Three words: Overpriced, Scammers, and Bullys.

I was treated terribly here and they insisted on selling me an overpriced, low-quality diamond likely because I'm young and they thought I didn't know any different. They don't care about the quality of the jewelry, but instead on how much they can get out of you.

They lied about the size of the diamond that could fit in my ring. They lied about what diamonds they actually had to sell me. After I called their bluff by purchasing a diamond elsewhere they pulled out a similar diamond from their safe (just days after) and attempted to sell it to me for less. WHERE WAS THIS DIAMOND A COUPLE DAYS AGO AND WHY ARE YOU SELLING IT TO ME FOR $500 CHEAPER THAN A SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE DIAMOND. I specifically asked for a smaller size and they insisted that they didn't have any and that they would have to modify my ring to fit a smaller diamond -- this was a lie because my other jewelry fit in a smaller diamond with no problems.

They also nickel and dime you on extra services which should come with purchasing a ring, i.e. an appraisal. Also, I had the ring sized and it was way too big and I could see the crease in the band where they re-sized it.

Overall, I was very displeased with their services. Specifically with Stan since he talks about how he loves to put smiles on peoples faces yet scams everyone that walks in the door. Sorry, but I will NEVER do business with you again and highly recommend nobody else...

After losing my wedding set a few months ago, I decided to try on a few rings. Leah was so patient and helpful as I tried on multiple options, guiding me based on my style preferences. She was so personable and kind. She asked me great questions to help narrow down my likes and dislikes. Even though I wasn't planning to purchase that day, I returned later to pick up my bracelet, and Abby was equally patient, helping me try on even more rings and creating a list for me. When I finally got the green light from my husband, the purchase process was a breeze. The staff made me feel so comfortable, and they went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience. Their customer service is truly top-notch, and their products are phenomenal. They are wonderful with communication. I had them bind the two bands together and they kept me updated on when it would be ready and when to pick it up. I'm absolutely in love with my new ring and will definitely return for all my future jewelry needs—both for repairs and shopping.
