Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Tempe

i ordered a breakfast sandwich, and i was so excited because i have been craving one since i have lived off of college food for a while. i MADE SURE the staff knew i was vegetarian, ordered the VEGETARIAN sandwich off the menu. please tell me why they put bacon on it, because i had no time before classes to go back and ask for the correct order. i was extremely disappointed because it should be obvious if i say out loud i am vegetarian. the staff didn't seem to care, the cashier not listening and the people making food finding their conversation more important than making people's food. i am usually one to give food service workers grace, as i know what thats like, but i have never been somewhere that doesnt take that into consideration when i order something that literally is labelled vegetarian on the menu. i wont be coming back, because einstein is really only good for some of their cream cheese and...

The manager was rude. There was no one in line and she was rushing her cashier to count the 10 coins I gave him (at 10:30 AM so they weren't close to closing or anything). They messed up my order, and when I asked the manager for it to be corrected, she acted like it was my fault. (I asked for a bagel untoasted and cut, but in her rush she handed me an uncut bagel from the basket and proceeded to act like I never asked for it to be cut in the first place). Eventually I got my bagel, but it was clearly a negative customer experience... 2 stars for the nice employee who actually read the order and had a cut bagel ready when the manager went to fix my order (African American guy with the tats -- nicest guy...

Been here three times this semester and it's been pretty bad each time. I always have ordered an asiago bagel, toasted, with cream cheese and tuna. First time I went it wasn't toasted. Whatever I don't care that much. Second time it wasn't toasted and there was no cream cheese. Oooookay. Third time they told me I couldn't add tuna and had to order a deli sandwich? I guess this is the only location in Arizona that does that. But whatever. I ordered it anyway, paid extra for cream cheese. Got it, no cream cheese, not toasted, on a plain bagel. Not to mention the wait each time was about 20 minutes. Definitely...
