Linda T was incredibly unfriendly and impatient!! I had an issue with my online order and I came back in looking for help with it. She seemed like she barely knew their policies or what she was even doing for that matter, and she would not listen when I tried to ask questions about the exchange. Like why is she asking for my debit card when she said she'd exchange the item that arrived incorrectly? She seemed to get mad and huff and puff while calling for help, as if I was "just another problem in her day", as if I should have already known how things work at this store. The answer was so simple, they cannot honor their online store promotions when doing an exchange toward a different item of the same base price (the correct item I ordered wasn't in stock). This could have saved so much time and headache if she had just communicated that! I would have kept the incorrect item as it shouldn't have been a big deal! More canvas choices and art supply choices. I walked up and down the aisle forever looking for things I needed for my art projects that I usually purchase at Hobby Lobby. My soft pastels I had 2 choices. Super cheap or super expensive. Goauche paint same thing. I wanted mid range. Acrylic paints had all 3...affordable, mid priced, expensive. Lol. I had to purchase a single artist loft canvas. I needed black and a certain size that Michaels did not offer. I also couldn't find a sealed pallet unless I wanted to buy a sta wet or a locking circle pallet. The protectant I normally use was found in a whole different section of the store.    Read moreEvery time I visit this Michaels location, there seems to be an issue. I called earlier today to confirm an item was in stock and was told it was available and ready for pickup. I drove all the way there! only to be told the item they saw in inventory was actually just the display model. No call to clarify. No apology. Just a dismissive attitude from the manager and a staff that clearly doesnât know whatâs going on.
This isnât a one-time fluke eitherâthis location consistently lacks helpful service, clear communication, and accountability. If youâre going to run a store, especially one tied to crafting and creativity, at least make sure your team knows their inventory and how to treat customers with basic respect.
