Said that my truck was ready to go. So I drove it down the road. My wife and I were traveling. So they did actually get it done in a quick amount of time. But it failed the next day only 130 mi away. I had to pay $715 out of my own pocket. Ticketed to another Dodge dealer. Only to have the original dealer Classic Chrysler tell me that they weren't paying the Tow fee or the $450 it was going to cost to get this problem diagnosed again. When it was clear to myself and the record driver that the pump they installed was dangling from the back of my truck. He claimed that he talked to the service manager at the new dealership. But when I spoke with him at the new dealership they said he had not spoken with the service manager at all. The young man that I spoke with at the new dealership said that the mechanic says that it was installed correctly. I am not a mechanic now but I was in the past. And I don't believe that any parts are supposed to be dangling off the truck when they are installed. They have basically given me the blow off. I would not recommend having any service work done there at all. The service advisor however was quite a nice gentleman his name was Greg. But when it came down to this dealership doing what they said they were going to do. They have failed. And one of the things there was a recall that they were supposed to notify me about my truck. That no one ever said anything to me about however I didn't notice it on the paperwork. They were in a rush to get out the door as I was wanting to get my truck and they were closing. So nobody pointed out anything to me. They got their $3, 374.85. and left me cold to deal with the problem. If by some miracle they decide to man up and be responsible for their actions. I would gladly be willing to update this review. But as for now hands down has been one of the worst dealerships I've ever dealt with. As far as honoring...
Read moreBack in August, I bought a 2023 Ram 1500 SLT (3.6L) from Classic Dodge & Chrysler. When we first arrived, a salesman named Conner greeted us. He seemed genuine and eager to help. He showed us several trucks and promised he could get anything we wanted from their sister stores.
When my wife and I mentioned we might keep looking, he got nervous and said his bosses didn’t like people walking out — that he’d get in trouble. Not wanting to make things hard for him, we stayed. Later, when I mentioned going with another dealer, he went to management and came back saying they had a “better truck and better deal.” Trusting him and management, I agreed to buy that truck.
That’s where the problems began.
It took two weeks to even receive the truck.
When I finally got it, it still had the previous owner’s belongings, hadn’t been detailed, and had several issues:
Broken rear license plate light
Missing passenger-side fender well
No front plate mount (required in Texas)
And later, the electronic braking system failed — I lost cruise control on a four-hour round trip drive.
They agreed to fix these issues after my trip. I brought the truck back as scheduled and didn’t get it for three days, but the only thing they fixed was the rear plate light.
I’ve been calling ever since. They keep saying they’ll provide a rental car so they can replace the fender well (which they now have in stock) and inspect the electronic braking system — but no one ever calls back. Every time, it’s the same story: “We’ll call you when the rental’s ready.” That call never comes.
It’s been almost four months, and nothing has been resolved. I’ve been patient and understanding, but this dealership’s lack of communication and accountability is unbelievable.
If you’re considering buying from Classic Dodge & Chrysler, please get every promise in writing. Don’t make the same mistake I did by...
Read moreMy beautiful Lincoln’s engine blew on me, of course I got the extra $ Warranty and was able to get my engine replaced, there were some trials and tribulations throughout the ordeal , finding a engine with the troubles we have with the auto parts industry going on right now, to some kinks being addressed that should of been and were not, this Angel of a man Greg Adams, put up with me and my endless phone calls and e-mails and texts that I wasn’t always the nicest too him about, to offering to pick me up each time I needed to come in and have my car serviced, or looked at over engine things. He is the most professional car service person I have ever encountered, he was upset when I was upset and wanted to fix and address any issues I was having with my car. The other employees respect him alot, his boss forgot his name , but he was a good guy as well in my journey. He explained something’s I wasn’t understanding what had taken place with my car due to me not being mechanically inclined . The staff was always friendly and courteous, place is always clean as a whistle, very inviting. Drinks if needed and I am pretty sure donuts EVERY day there open . Greg Adams was nothing but a great help, and friend throughout the month or so I was without my car. He is absolutely a certified specialist, he needs a raise a vacation, medal of some nature for putting up with me, promotion certainly, I would love too see him be the boss of the entire service department he deserves definitely! He is the only person I can trust with my car needs and I cannot thank him enough for all he done!
