I am very sad from a high pressure sales experience. I was coerced into buying a new motorcycle I really didn't want. And I lost the bike I dearly love as a trade in. It was paid for. I tried to back out before all the papers were signed , but told it was too late. I went in to buy gloves and drink some free beer. I am under mental health care on meds. Before I could really think about what I was getting into, even though I said several times I wanted to just keep my 2017 Breakout, they kept coming at me until I gave in. That night, I was filled with remorse. I tried to return the bike but was told it was too late to void the contract without bank financing my old bike to get it back. So, my bike that I owned that was paid for would have to be financed, Even though I was returning the new 2024 Breakout. Yes, it was my fault for being unable to firmly just say no. I have not even riden the bike that was pushed on me. Although it is beautiful. I wanted to pay cash, but they came up with a 26% finance scheme I can not afford. Unless I can get my retirement money, I will be paying $1,075/ mo. I had already taken $24,000 out to pay for my original bike. So I lost my bike, and I am under great duress and sorrow. Be more careful than I was. I was a good customer for years. But to them, I was just a target. Don't drink the free beer and talk to the salesmen who pounce on you. I am currently in the mental health dept. At VA for treatment. My psychiatrist is suggesting to get a lawyer. Texas state laws will enforce to void the contract because I was under the influence of psyche drugs and alchohol ( they provided beer) Wish it hadn't come to this. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Bought a used dyna from them. Drove from houston for it. For no reason a long and drawn out buying process for one. I called days before going there and arranged everything and after I got there the paper they handed me was asking more than we agreed on the phone. After alot of back and forth they finally brought it back down. Second I test rode the bike. Told them I believe it has excessive vibration. Their response was. "it's a dyna, they do that". I'm very familiar with them but I knew it seemed excessive and voiced.my concern again to the same result. I decided I'll go ahead and buy it and get it looked at later against my better judgement. They assured me the bike was gone through completely by their certified techs. They even make sure they charge you for a multi point inspection and blah blah when you buy it aka (set up fee). Haha. Got it home and had a shop check it out and the rear wheel bearing was completely shot. Absolutely no excuse on texarkana harley to not have seen it if your so called great techs changed the tire!!!. They put brand new tires on it to be sold but didn't see the shot bearing Ridiculous!! AVOID this joke of a dealer. If the bearing had completely gave out before I had it looked at by a reputable shop... I don't know what might have happened to me. I bought a used Harley with 750 miles on it, and a three-year extended service warranty from them on Nov. 4, 2017. According to my math, the warranty should run from Nov. 4, 2017 to Nov. 4, 2020 but I found out a few weeks back that Texarkana Harley-Davidson dated the policy June 12, 2017, the day a separate manufacturer's warranty began, meaning I paid for six months of coverage before I even owned the bike, and the warranty I paid extra for would expire in June 2020, not November.

When I complained, they gave me the option of buying another year of warranty at cost -- OR -- I could trade in for a new Harley and, as they put it, "get the warranty I wanted." I said no because all I wanted was the six months I had already paid for. They made one final offer, stating that a year's extension costs $2,500, and if I would pay $943 of that, they would extend me to November 2020 when I could trade in my bike for a newer model and they would put the $943 toward that purchase.

I might be even more appalled at the arrogance of these people who clearly ripped me off and would think I would want to continue to do business with them. According to Texarkana Harley-Davidson's logic and actual policy, if I had bought a two-year extended service warranty on June 11, 2019, the day before the manufacturer's warranty would expire, I would receive only one day of coverage before it too, would expire.
