Chair King Backyard Store — Local services in The Colony

If I could leave zero stars I would. Three of us walked in together in hopes of buying some new furniture for our patio. Three men were behind the counter, one on the phone, one helping a customer and one doing who knows what. We walked around the store and testing some things out for about 20 minutes. We noticed that the employees kept helping other customers. Two other couples had come in after us and they were immediately attended to. We had even went up to the counter to ask a question and the guy on the phone hung up and went to another couple in a different part of the store. So we left. As we were walking out one guy who had just helped a customer load stuff into their car asked if we needed anything. We said nope, no one could bother to talk to us so we wouldn’t bother purchasing their products. We ordered a table and chairs 9/20 and was told it would be delivered at the end of October. Due to Covid we had a conversation regarding availability and Robert the store manager told me the chairs were in stock at the warehouse but the table was in route and would only be a few weeks. My estimated arrival date was 10/22. Here it is 11/11 and now they are telling me that I am looking at 12/30 because there is a container shortage shipping over seas. Poor customer service - when I expressed my frustration to Robert he did not seem concerned but said he had "several of these phone calls to make". Bought a chair and an ottoman on Easter Sunday. They don't keep inventory at the store - the only way to get anything is to have it delivered later. The chair was going to be delivered the following week and the ottoman at the end of April. The chair didn't come the day it was due, so I called and heard the delivery order hadn't been put in. They told me they were putting it in at that time for delivery the next week. The same thing happened again. Now it's the end of May, and the ottoman is apparently sitting in a bay waiting for a delivery driver. And won't be delivered until July. Oh and nobody thought to tell me any of this until I thought to call them. Not great service. I will think twice before shopping at this...
