Titusville Utility Billing — Local services in Titusville

The people who answer the phones are rude and clearly give out wrong information. My water was turned off due to a missed payment and while the bill states one amount, the lady over the phone stated that an additional $80 was added for some type of charges I cannot recall. That aside, the lady over the phone stated that if I paid the amount due by or before 3pm, my water woule be back on. I called before 3pm to make the payment and was told they cannot take payment over the phone and I had to go online. I told her that was no issue, however I called to make sure things wouldn't slip through the cracks and them not see the payment and risk my water not being turned back on. BIG SURPRISE.....they left me high and dry ( literally ) and here I sit with my kids not being able to utilize water for showers, wash their hands, or anything. This is unacceptable and something needs to give seeing as I have no other source to go to for water services. We just naught a house here and and in the chaos of moving my family of 5 we forgot to change the water bill over into our name. They came nice aND early to turn it off and as soon as we noticed we went over and too care of it. The said they would be over between one and five to turn it back on (this is on a thurs) they didn't show. Called them and got a response pretty early on Friday saying they would be here some time today. NO SHOW AGAIN. The people in this department will go to great lengths to avoid customer contact. Since when is "Customer Service" allowed to be unavailable? I needed to speak to one of the angry, unhelpful staff members for some help that they; I know, would begrudge me and that is the response I get. I hope that these people do not get paid for not doing their jobs. Maybe that's why they are so angry...
