I visited Breathe Port Jefferson yesterday and immediately when i walked in was greeted by a woman (i dont know her name) but she asked how I was and I answered that i was doing pretty well, without skipping a beat she replied "well you must not be doing to well with that shirt you have on. I was taken back bc i was wearing a local professional NY sports jersey and didnt care for her obvious distaste for them. IMO completely unprofessional even if she did laugh it off and apologize. I walked around the store while this person was on the phone and assisting other customers. After the other customers were helped, I waited for her to ask if I needed help and it never came (the store is very small and so this was not an unreasonable assumption). I walked up to the counter and explained that I was interested in a black tourmaline bracelet for myself. After checking a display with bracelets exclaimed that she had some in another part of the store. I was asked to follow her over and she pulled out a bin with what appeared to be bracelets of crystals. After looking at a pair of bracelets, I chose one and brought it over to the counter. We chatted about a few things and she rang me up. After leaving from the store and putting the bracelet on, i noticed that the bracelet looked and felt similar to one made with beads. I continued to wear it all night all while questioning its construction. I believe today that i was sold a bracelet made of beads which is similar in color to Black Tourmaline. This made me disgusted that a seemingly quiet establishment could sell mere trinkets as precious stones. I dont recommend Breathe instead I suggest you skip them all together and show patronage to Envision Crystal a few yards from where Breathe is located or Crystal Cavern in Bay Shore, NY. Its terrible to think that businesses still do this type of thing today when so many people who are new to metaphysical arts need guidance not swindling.
Update- about a week after I bought the bracelet, the elastic band snapped and the "crystals" went everywhere. So much for a...

From stunning amethyst clusters and shimmering selenite towers to rare stones and unique jewelry, this place is a treasure trove for crystal lovers.
