We booked the Fifth Season for our son's rehearsal dinner. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing restaurant! We live in Texas and so had to plan this event long distance. I was nervous about that, but Deborah attended to every detail..no matter how large or small. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was not just wonderful but perfectly spectacular! Our group was nearly 80 people and they closed their entire restaurant to accommodate us, The event began with a cocktail hour and o'dourves downstairs, They helped our son and daughter-in-law create/select signature drinks that were very personal and delicious. Everything was delicious! The oysters with Champagne Mignonette were especially awesome! We also selected Ahi tuna tartare (which was melt in your mouth amazing), smoked pork belly on mini brioche, and red wine poached pears and brie. My family is full of hyper critical foodies and all we saw were smiles; everyone raved about how delicious it was! On Deborah's recommendation, we hired Eric McCormack to play/perform for the cocktail hour and were so glad we did! He was extremely good and it added just the right touch to the indoor/outdoor hour. For dinner, we moved upstairs and I was surprised by how roomy and beautiful it was up there! I don't know how they did it, but they managed to serve all 78 of us perfectly and at the same time. Every table had it's own waiter/waitress. Every need was attended to...often before our guests even realized there was a need! Service was impeccable. Staff was friendly and professional. And the food...I am not sure I can do it justice writing about it. We received complement after complement about how wonderful everything was! My son and daughter-in-law selected as appetizers the Hamachi Crudo, ravioli with foie gras, and watermelon salad (this sounds delicious)! For entrees we went with a choice of beef tenderloin, the Maine Lobster, or Arctic Char w/ Golden Beets. I went with the lobster and my husband chose the tenderloin. It was ALL DELICIOUS. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. There was not a bad appetizer, entree, or dessert. The flourless chocolate cake was "mouthwateringly" good. We also got a lot of complements on the cheesecake. There were a lot of empty plates at the end of the evening! I don't know how they did it. But the Fifth Season chef and staff pulled off the PERFECT rehearsal dinner. All I can say is thank you. They made our night memorable and enjoyable on so many levels. If you are looking for a venue for a special meal or event, you need not look any further than The...

The next day they called 2x to confirm and told him that if he cancels, it will be a $50 fine charged to his account. It was 8:45 when we pulled into the parking lot to look for a spot and by the time we found it, we may have run 9 minutes late, in which they had called us again a 3rd time to ask where we were. As we walked in, the lobby was packed and they had asked us to either wait upstairs or downstairs, both were full with customers. We decided to wait upstairs. I waited about 15 minutes and asked when we will be seated. No one had an answer. I waited another 15 minutes and they had the manager come over to explain to me that they are running late because of the snow in the parking lot. There was no snow at all. We waited and waited a total of 45 minutes with a reservation and still no response on a table. No one was leaving the restaurant either in that 45 minutes of waiting. We had decided that waiting an hour with a reservation was too long to wait, especially since they called us 3times to confirm. We decided to leave and had told management. In that case, Management had apologized and offered us a $25 gift card. Then turned around and told me that the computers were not working. They did not offer to take my address down and mail me one later. That would have been the right thing to do. We had walked out an hour later still hungry and dissappointed. Unfortnuately, this is not the first time that we made a reservation and had to still wait to be seated. I understand that it is Valentine's day, but when you triple book and charge $50 for a cancelled reservation, that upsets me. I should be charging them $50 for lost time and no service. Terrible management skills. I would not recommend this restaurant in the future. Go to Kitchen A. Bistro, Cassis in Huntington, or Prime. They are terrific with great decor...

The Mac and Cheese sticks to your ribs so well that if I were Adam, God wouldβve had a difficult time creating Eve. The main course was seasoned with the perfect amount of Salt-N-Peppa and the Sloop IPA got me wanting to Shoop for real. At a time where you can experience all four seasons in one day, the fifth seasoning here is the staff. Not one to dine and dash, I was taking names. The server, Diane, was attentive and had the memory of an elephant and the speed of a chipmunk. Itβs nuts how knowledgeable she was about the menu. After dinner, it was over to the bar for a cocktail, one more round to square off the evening. Veronica and Maggie knocked it out like Rocky jazzed Drago. And for a last perk, the espresso that Tommy made was as smooth as a silky croon from Olβ Blue Eyes. I should add that a previous time I was here, Jason, our server, was the consummate gentleman. It was my grandmotherβs 95th birthday and he made every accommodation that would pertain to the sensibilities of a palate born from the Great Depression. This is to say, a plain Jane on her least adventurous day. Basically, she wants everything devoid of the flavorful accoutrements that are offered. While my head shook left to right, hers nodded with full approval. We had a joyous time and he was an accommodating...
