Read moreI do enjoy the vibe from this establishment. This was my second time dining here. The first time I ate here, I say at a booth. The chalkboard sign outside the door said happy hour specials "X% off appetizers from 5-7." So my friend and I went in and were seated at a table, ordered an appetizer, 2 masks and cocktails. Upon getting out receipt, I politely stated we got an appetizer between 5-7 for happy hour....which then she told me, "oh no, that's only if you eat at the bar." That was extremely disappointing at there were, 1. No seats open at the bar, and 2. That should have been stated one the sign or verbally spoken to us upon ordering. So we paid cash on our first visit and didn't receive the correct change. They rounded up the change on our bill and short changed us. I was extremely confused. If you want to round the change, do it so you are losing out on the deal. The food and cocktails were good, especially the pulled pork nachos. So....today, we give it a second chance. Again the chalkboard sign outside says "30% off appetizers, $10 cocktails for happy hour 5-7." So we go in, we are getting seated and I ask if the specials for happy hour are only served at the bar and the waitress said no they are for the table also. So we sit at a table. Order one appetizer (30% off) and 2 cocktails ($10/per drink) as the sign states. We get the check and it shows one cocktail at $16, one at $10 and the correct discounted price for the appetizer. So I ask the waitress about the happy hour cocktail and she goes to fix the check and brings it back. One cocktail is $13, one is $10. The sign states $10 happy hour cocktails.......we are tired of asking questions and my friend said to just pay the bill. Total was $39.24. I paid cash $100. Recurved my change of $60 and was told they don't have change right now. I'm sorry, but again I was short changed. I should have gotten back $60.76. I am disappointed in the lack of caring, lack of consistency, discrepancies of advertising and actual prices, and the whole not giving correct change. I know it's only $0.76, but if a business does that to every customer, that is a bunch of mullarkey, and as a business you should be giving the proper change, and having change to give (especially if you're menu says cash price is 3.5% less than using a credit card). I am disappointed as this was a place I liked a lot, but I will not come...
Read morewe came here around 5pm on sunday, and we were sat by the bartender, and she was really nice, but then when we were sat no one came to the table for like 15 minutes, so we started to wonder if we were supposed to order at the bar. finally someone came over but didn’t even introduce herself or anything and only asked me, out of four of us, if i wanted anything to drink. i got a drink and told her we wanted mozzarella sticks, then the busser (who was also really nice) gave us the food and our server never came back - and by the way, it wasn’t busy or anything, there were only two other tables there. we tried to get her attention to tell her we were ready for food but she wouldn’t even look at us and would just walk past us. eventually 30 minutes went by and we decided we would just leave money on the table and go, because we couldn’t even ask her for the check. but then, i ended up spilling my drink on the floor and everyone else was so nice and helpful, but our server never came back to even check up or ask if we wanted another drink, even though she saw me spill my drink. overall it was a disappointing experience with the service of our one, specific server. she had black hair, with eyeliner and a bit emo. it was so weird, almost as if she knew us and didn’t like us but we’ve never visited this place before and we aren’t even from New York. it would’ve been a nice experience if our server would’ve paid attention to us. we were there for almost and hour and were only...
