I fell in love with this vintage, "brutalist" amethyst ring in a thrift store, and bought it even though it was way too tiny for my finger. I moved back from NYC 4 years ago, and I remembered my mother telling me about Rocky Point Jewelers, so I decided to head over there with my new treasure to see what they could do about making it fit my pinky finger. I had never been inside before, and from the parking lot I didn't know what to expect. Wow, the place just took my breath away when I entered. Low key on the outside, like Xanadu on the inside. All around the store were massive amethyst geodes, and it seemed like it was meant to be that the ring come here. I had to stop myself from becoming distracted by all the perfectly displayed treasures inside. At first, I was told that the ring would not survive resizing because it would chip the gold over the silver. Pros who know their stuff! I asked if it could be cut and sanded so I could then expand it to fit my finger. I was told to leave it and they would see what they could do. Hopeful, I left the shop, confident I would be wearing the ring shortly. The very next day the store called me to tell me that the ring was ready and that it had "come out perfect". This news made my day, but it got even better when I picked up the ring and was told there was no charge for the cutting of the ring. Needless to say, I LOVE Rocky Point Jewelers, and my next visit will be to get a strand of Mikimoto pearls restrung, and to browse and shop. There are so many beautiful, glittering treasures inside, I cannot wait to treat myself to something shiny! I highly recommend Rocky Point Jewelers for repairs, and treasures to glitter up your life.

I’ve posted before but I just have to tell you and show you the most beautiful job Rocky Point Jewelers did on an heirloom ring that belonged to my mother-in-law. I’ve had it for many years but unfortunately lost the coral stone that had been fitted to remind her of the beach….it was her favorite place. We weren’t able to find another coral stone but decided on her birthstone, a garnet. It took no time at all to hear back that it was ready for pick up. I was so excited to see it and my mouth dropped when I saw it. IT IS MAGNIFICENT! I highly recommend Rocky Point Jewelers for their caring and professional service. I have never had a bad experience!! Thanks to their entire staff ❤️

Rocky Point Jewelers continues to deliver outstanding service, as they have for our family over many years. Most recently, I had a watch resized and the experience was efficient, courteous, and precise. Even during the challenges of the pandemic, they remained reliable and accessible. Their consistency and professionalism make them a trusted local business we’re proud to support.

Was buying a chain with a pendant. I stated that I wasn’t crazy about the pendant being a different color gold compared to the chain. The woman helping me stated “well that’s the color, I can’t do anything about it”. Maybe, try to find one that is the same tone as the chain? Or at bare minimum don’t respond that rudely? When writing up the invoice I stated I would be paying cash. Some places charge a percentage for card fee so I wanted to specify I was paying cash. Apparently this was interpreted as me wanting to avoid paying sales tax. The woman replied very rudely “doesn’t matter, we still have to pay sales tax every 20th” She then said to a male employee (probably owner) I can’t believe how everyone thinks they can get away without paying tax. This was said very loudly in front of other customers. Miss, I am very aware how small businesses operate as I have one myself. Instead of insulting and embarrassing your customers in front of everyone maybe quietly explain. I could care less when you pay taxes and wasn’t trying to avoid paying sales tax. I will never go here again. The woman that helped me made me feel like I was a criminal. Very rude and classless. I just wanted to get out of there as quick as possible because I was embarrassed in front of other customers. I try to support local businesses but when they don’t respect their customers I’ll pass. Respect...

I agree with the others- RUDE RUDE RUDE! I was standing there waiting for like 20 minutes and was completely ignored. Finally I spoke to this NASTY woman (I'm assuming the same woman as in the other reviews) about repairing my wedding band- because the diamonds had fallen out and it was bent out of shape because it is a very soft white gold. She told me it wouldn't be worth repairing and that all the diamonds would fall out when they tried to reshape it and I would be charged for that. (I've had this ring reshaped twice and was NEVER charged for that anywhere else) I went here on St. Pattys day- I was wearing a shirt that said "Everyone loves an Irish Girl" The woman takes a look at my shirt and goes "Why don't you go have a drink and think about it" I was not drinking just because I was wearing a St. Pattys day shirt! Then I started to ask another question and she waved her finger in my face as to say "shush" and asked the woman standing behind me in line "can i help you?" I just said "NEVERMIND" and left. I will NEVER give them my business again and will be sure to post my review of them ALL OVER...
