BoxLunch — Local services in Town of Cheektowaga

Boxlunch has always been one of my favorite stores and this particular location was one of my regular go-tos pre-Covid when I lived in WNY. Recently, I visited WNY with my partner, and keep in mind that he suffers from a mild medical condition that affects his breathing. I understand it's a business's right to refuse service but It's actually quite frustrating when Each location's manager has their own interpretation of how to handle customer facial coverings. For COVID, the mouth and nose must be covered, and his Face-Sheild does just that. To be told otherwise, is insulting, inconsiderate, and intolerant. Especially, when offered/ suggested to shop from outside the store, or online which is an even more degrading thing to say to a loyal customer. Definitely won't be shopping at this location whenever I visit...

Always a fan of this chain, so we stop into most stores we see in different areas we travel. I love that they have a mix of fandoms on offer - from Disney to Anime. They section items out by genre and type. So, it's easy to find all the different merch with that theme in one area.

This one in particular was clean and well organized. They have lots of stuff to look through in a smaller space, so take your time. There is a sale section in the back corner if you want to find some deals! The hubs bought a t-shirt that he liked, and they were doing a BOGO 50% when we were there, so ask if there are any offers going on.

Overall: A A fun shop with tons of different genres. They also support charity...

Even though it's 4 days until Xmas and people are everywhere, the ladies on staff tonight were amazingly helpful and pleasant. One even checked the back and helped me find the gift I needed with a demeanor and a smile that didn't seem forced or "required". They knew where their products were, kept the shelves stocked as people purchased, and did it all while being aware and prepared for the last minute rush.

I've been there before, received gifts from there, and I've purchased from there. I'm extremely satisfied with everything to do...
