Apple Farms is a great addition to Croton. Like it's other stores Apple has good produce at good prices. Unlike all the other Apple stores I've been to this one has kept the classy style of the Zeytinia store that occupied the space until the paddy wagons came around and put the owners in jail for fraud.
I got pineapples that were actually golden and bananas that were actually yellow (doesn't it burn you up that you can't find a yellow banana any more?).The fish was delicious and price competitively: not quite the bargain of the produce but better quality that the big stores around - as good as Turco's fish but not as expensive and not a huge selection. The staff are a pleasure - as they are at the big stores in the area - but these people seem to know where things are.

He said yes, so I asked for sausage, fried tomato, cheddar, and jalapeños. They told me they didn't have sausage & they couldn't fry the tomatos. Something about the oil couldn't go on the frier.
