Great Wall Croton — Restaurant in Town of Cortlandt

This Chinese (and Thai...) Restaurant now serves both Chinese & Thai cuisine and so far both (Chinese & Thai Cuisines...) have been of Very Good quality, taste delicious, and both are Excellently Priced! The Hot & Sour soup is certainly some of the BEST in Westchester County (their Chinese Cuisine is THE BEST in Croton-on-Hudson and it is likely the ONLY Thai Restaurant in the small village!). Every curry based dish (both Chinese & Thai...) is flavorful and Excellent. The steamed Chicken Dumplings are also very tasty, as is most everything I and my Girlfriend have tried (and likely everything else we have yet to order on the Menu is Very Good). You can also Order Online, the ONLY caveat is that they DO NOT DELIVER and are a CASH ONLY Business. I understand their position regarding Credit Card processing, but in an increasingly "cashless society" this maybe an issue for some people, but trust me it is worth a quick stop at the ATM and every (dollar) Bill...

Its Alright. I've had A LOT of chinese places, including two other spots in this area. This was my least favorite. I usually order the same things so i can review properly. In this instance I got he Boneless spare rib combo with pork fried, and crab rangoons. It cost $15, and was alright. The boneless spareribs were good, but had a very sweet red sauce on them. The pork fried was normal, more of a yellow rice than a brown or fried looking rice. The crab rangoons... ehhhh. Definitely felt under fried, the filling was strictly OK. I ate a decent amount of the food but I will most likely be going to other places in the future. Had many Chinese foods all over the Westchester county for the past 35 years but this stands out being the worst of all by far. First of all, many Northern Westchester has undelightful Chinese food (worse than upstate NY). You'll get a much better Chinese food in the southern part of Westchester. This particular place has no concern about how the food taste. It can be ridiculously salty or extremely oily. Also the portions are small compare to other places.
