Worse experience ever had at any dry cleaner. I brought my clothes on Wednesday April 25, 2018 for dry cleaning. I asked the employee if this shirt could be cleaned. They accepted the shirt so I assumed since they are the “experts” in dry cleaning that the shirt would be cleaned properly. I picked up my clothes on Friday April 27, 2017 and inspected the shirt. The shirt still had the stains. It was at this point that the dry cleaners said it was not a stain but it was color fade and it could not be removed. Had they told me this on Wednesday I would not give them the shirt for cleaning. It makes no sense to pay for service that can’t be performed. They refused to accept responsibility for the lack of service. He asked me what I would like the dry cleaners to do and I said not charge me for this one shirt. He refused and became agitated when I told him that doesn’t seem fair and that I would dispute the charge for this shirt. At that point, the man refused to accept my payment for all clothes (11 shirts and 4 pants). I lied and told him I would not dispute the charge just to get my clothes back. I’ve been to other dry cleaners that would make additional attempts to clean the shirt or just refund the money for items not cleaned correctly. After paying his coworker offered to wash and fold the shirt for free but what sense does that make. I can do that at home using my own washer and dryer and either way the color fad would not improve. I told her after the way her coworker handled the customer dissatisfaction I respectfully declined the offer. He was unprofessional, rude and clearly didn’t see the logic. I don’t think anyone would waste their time and money on a service that can’t be provide, had he told me the shirt could not be cleaned I would not give him the shirt. It’s not about the money, to clean the shirt is only like $3.00, its the way I was treated. If you use this service make sure you confirm that if they can’t clean the items, you don’t have to pay or that they tell you upfront that the item can’t be cleaned. If not there are other dry cleaners in the area that I am sure would give you better customer care and quality service. ...
Read moreI had an awful experience with this tailor. I took in a shirt to have the sleeves adjusted, specifically to allow for folding, but they completely misunderstood the instructions. Instead of simply adjusting the length, they cut the full-length sleeves down to 3/4 sleeves—completely ruining the design. Now, not only can I no longer fold the sleeves as intended, but the shirt is completely unwearable. To make matters worse, the owner was incredibly rude when I tried to address the issue, refusing to offer a refund. I’m out a hundreds for a shirt that’s now ruined, and they don’t seem to care at all. If you actually care about your clothes and want proper tailoring, stay far away from this place. Avoid...
Read moreThe cleaning and pressing of my clothing was fabulous. The "alterations" were not. Cleaning was recent. A few years ago I brought a jacket in to be altered. Simple seam adjustment. The guy absolutely butchered it. I see the same guy is there. I would NEVER trust him/them to alter a handkerchief let alone a garment. Once bitten, twice shy. I go to Aridio in Astoria or Rene on the GC in the BX. Both are superb tailors who make bespoke suits also. Prices are cheaper than locally also. It's worth it if you want quality. In summary. I would have my clothes cleaned and pressed here but never any kind...
