Warning when entering this store with young children! The owner is openly inconsiderate to mothers with young children, and storms around her own store with an attitude in the presence of young children.

I was a returning customer for two consecutive weekends and this time, brought my two year old daughter along for what I thought would be a positive shopping experience.

Like any mother of a young child, I was doing the best I could to manage my daughter from grabbing things from the table. While navigating through the store, I left a few markers out of place, in an attempt to keep my child from causing a bigger disaster. I decided to leave the store since I couldn't keep up with the pace of my daughter's curiosity of items in the store, coupled with the anticipation of possibly breaking something.

As I walked down the steps to exit the store, with my child in my arms, the owner Heidi screamed my name, attacking me for the three markers that were out of place, and maybe some plastic beach balls that might have been misplaced. There are times when the customer may be wrong or unreasonable, but this wasn't one of them. I even offered to come back and clean up the markers but that idea quickly dissolved when I noticed the owner wasn't backing down with her both her tone and unprofessionalism.

I would proceed with caution when entering this place of business. The unpredicibility of the owner's behavior in the face of young children is both baffling as it...

This store and owner is not friendly to children and should have a sign no children allowed… she is rude and does not help customers either.. shocking she has a store open in a family vacationing region.

Dear Heidi we did respect your shop and watched our children and did respect the other people in the store. However you were rude nasty and didn’t have a sunshine attitude , you were actually the opposite. You could sense how unwelcoming you were.. and I stand by that you need a sign that says no...

We had a similar experience in this store with young children and the owner not being in favor of having young ones in her store. We walked out quickly and didn't shop. There are many other stores in the neighborhood that welcome children... it's also weird that after the one negative review I read about her store, there are 10+ other "positive" reviews posted shortly after. The owner must have recruited those...
