I absolutely love the products and the selection of items. Unfortunately, I have had terrible customer service everytime I have been there. The first time I went to the Greece At Home store. I went to pay for my items, I had unloaded them, she rang them up. I went to hand her my credit card and she said, "Oh, I forgot to tell you our "thing" is down, we can only take cash right now." I was upset that they didn't have any signs up saying that they where only taking cash or that she didn't say anything before she had me unload everything. But I politely ask "Can I put my stuff in the cart leave it here and go to ATM and come back to pay for it." She literally rolled her eyes at me and stated "whatever but I'm not guaranteeing it'll still be here when you decide to come back. I just left at that point. About a month later I decided to go back and just go to the Henrietta store instead, it had horrible customer service also. I couldn't find anyone to help me with a table, so I ended up not buying it because I couldn't reach it,lol. When I went to check out, there was only 1 poor clerk for 6 customers in line. So it literally took over 20. I would recommend that this company invests in better training of customer service and better/higher...
Read moreThe worst customer service ever I was in the store yesterday looking to purchase kitchen canisters they were a gift so I needed them asap found the ones I needed come to find out one of them were broken in the box so I took the box to the front of the store and ask one of the girls at the front desk if she had more maybe in the back she came back at me with a rude tone we have nothing in the back we never keep anything in the back of our store .ok!!! So I asked if I could take one of the other canisters outta one of the other box since there was one other box left but different color she told me no we cant do that because they would lose a sale on the box that wasn't broken hmm soo didn't you just lose the sale on the box I wanted that was broken she made absolutely no sense she proceeded to role her eyes at me and decided to help another costumer when I asked to speak to a manager completely ignored that . So I left the store and took my business to the hennreitta location were they were more then happy to help me out . I honestly wish I would've gotten the girls name because you seriously need costumer service skills and a change...
Read moreWhile I love the variety of items, the way they are organized and displayed, and the generally decent prices, I can’t get over the dishonest pricing. They raise the price of an item in order to clearance it at 50% off. Probably some study showed we can’t resist half off. They want to advertise 50% off but don’t want to give 50% off. That’s dishonest. There are hundreds of items like this. Almost everything that is clearanced is this way. So they pay an employee to mark all the items up, then sticker with the 50% off. Doesn’t seem like a sound business plan. And judging by all the stickers I saw partially peeled, I’m not the only customer to notice and have a bad taste over it. I noted today that they placed two layers of white stickers over the original prices, probably to hide them better than they were before, and then they stickered it at the higher price and then the 50% off sticker. Just stop. Mark it 40% off the honest price and call it a day. I’m at a point where I will go anywhere else unless I really need something from there.
