I ordered this sofa for my therapy office from Markson's Website on the 4th of July after looking at Wayfair's and Raymour and Flanigan"s websites for an hour. I didn't even know that Markson's existed before I did a search for other furniture stores in my area. I wasn't happy with the prices or the selection from Raymour and Flanigan and they are my usual Go-To and I try to avoid Wayfair at all costs out of principle. I really wanted to give business to a smaller, family-owned business and was so happy to learn that Markson's existed. I looked up the reviews and found that they have a 4.9 star Google rating with 373 reviews which I know is impressive to say the least. I read several of them including the lowest ones and then looked at their selection. I loved the selection (not so large that it overwhelmed me and not so small that it disappointed me) and the prices were sooooo much lower than what I was seeing at the other 2 stores. I placed an order immediately. Upon confirmation of my order, I noticed my confirmation said that my sofa would be "ready for pick up by..." and I had put in my address for delivery. I emailed the store and notified them of this, stating that delivery was a must. I got an IMMEDIATE reply (On the 4th of July!!) email from Zachary apologizing for the computer glitch and notifying me of how he planned to rectify the situation and compensate me for the issue that I had. We emailed back and forth a couple times as I thanked him profusely for his quick response and his generous offer to make this right. I was told the sofa would be delivered in about 7 days. They were able to deliver it 4 days later. The 2 gentlemen that delivered the sofa were very kind and respectful and showed a ton of gratitude when I offered them water from the water cooler as it was a hot day. From now on, Markson's will be THE FIRST place I go when looking for furniture and the first place I recommend to people looking to buy. The sofa looks beautiful in the office; the pic does not...
Read moreCool people, welcoming patient and not pushy or annoying at all. They beat the price of three other stores we went to and they had the color furniture I wanted. They were also able to deliver in time, though they thought they wouldn’t. I would give them 5 stars but the loveseat was less than perfect upon delivery. We hardly use it and it’s very small and hard to see there’s an issue, so one week suddenly became a few months before we called. One side of the loveseat leans a bit farther than it should. When fully reclined it’s more noticeable. We got a year warranty and an extended warranty but unfortunately the guy couldn’t fix it. As for the extended warranty, you have a certain amount of time to inform them of an issue before the issue is not covered but we weren’t really sure it was an issue at first. READ THE GUARDSMEN WARRANTY BEFORE YOU NEED OR USE IT! I don’t like their extra long process or their customer service. They have a long hold time and very cold people. They abruptly end the call when they think you’re done, no bye or is there anything else…, they just hang up. I understand they are not Markson’s but I purchased the extended warranty from them so….
Update: I am a strong believer in customer service excellence. I absolutely love Markson’s customer service. They are so kind and understanding and will try and make things right. I wish they could do business with a different extended warranty company. A little kindness goes a very long way!...
Read moreFirst I would like to just say out of all the furniture stores I been to and approved, this is the first store that has shown gratitude, patience, sincere, respect, consistent, and honesty. I felt very welcomed me and my daughter. The store was very put together, clean and organized. They didn't have me wait for anything they not only offered but made several suggestions that was suitable for me and my wants my needs and mainly my budget ...i was greeted with full confidence to believe that I was not only there to window shop but also to walk out that door with guarantee satification. They engaged not only with me but with my daughter. I was pleased to meet Tyler, Zack and katie. They were so generous open minded and I felt grateful as being a customer as well as my daughter. Their customer service and leadership skills was phenominal. I would definitely recommend this location. They have a wide variety which I loved and also just taking the time to break every detail to a T. I just want to thank God because they put a smile on our faces and blessing I was not expecting to recieve. Tyler attended to my paperwork. And I think he is going to be a great candidate for the coporation. And this all happen for us today plus with a affordable delivery fee compared to others plus processing and decent nice...
