Poke Frisee ( ROCKVILLE CENTRE) — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I’ve lived in RVC for many years and one night walking home from work I saw that this place was open (hadn’t been on Park for a while). There’s nothing like this in town so I was excited to try it. I made my own bowl. The chicken was undercooked. The spicy tuna that I ordered was just a messy ball of what was essentially ice cream consistency/texture. It was really bad. It did not taste fresh.

I’ve worked in service my whole life so I always try new places with an open mind but unfortunately I’m never going back. It was absolutely horrendous. People who work there are pleasant. No issues with that. To be honest it was so quiet in there I thought they were closing up (I went around 6:30/7pm).

Maybe it was just a bad batch of meat but unfortunately first impressions are everything. It’s a 0 for me. Learn how to cook...

I have been here a few times in the past and had good experiences. Tonight they really messed up badly. It was the first time we ordered on line and picked up. We ordered two bowls and both were wrong. It was like they didn’t read our order. The hawaiian bowl came with everything we asked to omit. The make your own bowl came without the quinoa we requested. They put brown rice instead. See photo for order. When we returned after getting home and realizing the error…….we got an apology and they redid the bowls. REALLY? I guess we expected something for our trouble. 30 minutes we spent going back and forth and parking in RVC is a big headache. I am very disappointed by the customer service. I would NOT recommend doing any special orders online……only in person where you can watch over what is being put...

had the pleasure of being served by May at Poke Frisée, and I must say her customer service was outstanding. She was incredibly patient and took the time to explain the menu options in detail, helping me find exactly what I wanted. Even when I had a lot of questions and took a bit longer to decide, she was calm, friendly, and never rushed me. It's clear she really cares about making every customer feel welcome. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made the experience all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend!...
