Honestly, my initial experience at this location was great. Timely and everyone was kind. I had noticed the advertisement for “2 pairs of glasses and your first exam for only $89.95”. I asked if there were any catches or what the guidelines for this deal were and was told it may fluctuate depending on your prescription. I was originally quoted $400 for 2 glasses (both priced $79.95 and a part of the “deal”) and my exam. I chose to only get 1 pair of glasses and still payed $320. I didn’t mind the price but was alarmed when I went to pick up my glasses 2 weeks later and was given no case, sleeve or even cloth to protect my glasses. On top of that, I’ve been trying to order my contacts for over a week now and it seems that the staff has very poor communication. Originally I was told that I had to wait at least 3 days using the trial contacts before we could order them. I waited 3 days and called back to place the order when all was good. I was told that the doctor had to confirm the prescription and they’d give me a call back and place the order. I never heard back from anyone so I called and was told the prescription was approved but I had to wait to place the order. In my opinion, the staff at this location seemed very unprofessional and disorganized. I will not be returning, and can’t see myself going to another...

DO NOT SCHEDULE TO VISIT THIS COMPANY. THE WORSE EXPERIENCE. I went the Babylon branch.

1-they overbooked the same hr. There were 6 patients for the same time. 2- I waited for an hr and went to ask why is it taking that long. The girls upfront of the store they know the game they play so they looked at each other. No one wanted to say anything. So I told them that I was leaving in 10 minutes. So they call me for the pre exam immediately. During the pre exam they wanted to run tests that I didn't need. So I said I only needed a prescription to buy my contact lenses. This doesn't make them happy.

3-Kids screaming around the waiting room. Patent yelling at them...Totally stressful situation.

Finally I was call to see the optometrist. She run the vision tests and asked me if I wanted reading glasses." I said ok. I can get them. But I need my contact lenses. I just need the prescription to buy them online." She said " I can't give you the prescription. I have to order the trials first. It will take 2 weeks then we can order your lenses. Totally insane! A month to get my contact lenses.?" Also they wouldn't sell me my brand, they wanted me to use theirs.

This was a total waste of time and I left the office 2 hrs later with nothing. They refused to give me the prescription. Don't waste...

I have been coming to americas best for a long time, i do have insurance that allow me to get FREE glasses but i would rather pay out of pocket because i have loved the customer care and how easy it has always been through this company, but i have not had the best experience this time around xavier figueroa if i remember correctly was the one helping me order my new glasses great attitude no complaints. Unfortunately when i received my glasses the lens were super loose so i had to go back the next day to get them back in the lab to be fixed i had spoke to a different person maybe he was a supervisor im not sure but having to going back there was already inconvenient but it was fine i just received my glasses for the second time and they arent loose like the other pair but they are not tight in the frame either. I dont think people understand that when someone wears glasses their whole lives they know when something could be done better and when its not done properly, its not the point if the lends will come out of the frame its that now theframe is going to be more prone to get dirtier and harder to clean i went back again to make it known and was told to try it for a week.
