Walgreens — Local services in Town of Lake George

My experience at Walgreens today was very disappointing. Pharmacist Elizabeth wilder refused to fill my prescription for me, claiming she did not have it. Yet when asked if another Walgreens would be able to fill it she said they would. When asked if she could tell us where the closest one was or how we could go about getting my prescription filled she acted as if it was a bother and a nuisance to her. On top of my personal experience, my friend with me was also trying to get a prescription filled and gave a her insurance information which the pharmacist claimed to run and said it ‘didn’t work’ and insisted my friend pay full price. No attempt was made to run the information again or call the insurance company and see what the issue was. She refused to help us further in any way and just insisted my friend...

The people are so friendly, but they are always out of every medication. I’ve had three prescriptions this week, all different things on different days for different people. They were unable to fill any of them, because they were all “out of stock”. Even though I spoke in person with a pharmacist yesterday, who guaranteed they had it and it would be ready today. We’ve ended up having to transfer all our prescriptions to Warrensburg.

EDIT: I called the pharmacy to double check that it was indeed out of stock, they told me that was correct, then they dropped the phone and came back and said never mind, they DO have the tablets in stock and they’ll be ready in an hour. was supposed to get flu shot yesterday at Walgreens Lake George at 10:30. Came early but was told it can't be done immediately. At 10:25, my husband and I asked again when will we get the shots. Pharmacist Abigail who had time to chat with delivery man, run around doing other stuff, got very defensive and told us if we are not satisfied, to go elsewhere. She repeated advise to go elsewhere after we spent half an hour waiting and not being checked in !!! Terrible...
