Servicing your car at this dealership could jeopardize your safety and well-being. I hope that I can save a potential victim from being scammed out their money and given a car that is unsafe to drive after paying to have it serviced. I spent $3,200 on a diagnostic and service based on the result of the diagnostic. I was told by their mechanic that my car seemed to have a life expectancy of AT LEAST another year after getting the repairs that they suggested done. His professional assessment influenced my decision to proceed with the repairs. I was told I needed to fix my front calibers and my battery voltage was low and should be replaced soon. I asked if the mechanic found any other problems and the receptionist told me , no .
So I went to go get my car from their parking lot . As soon as I tried to make a turn my steering wheel locked up. I was still on the property of the dealership so I walked back inside told them that something was wrong with my car. Their mechanic came out and was trying to convince me that the car was okay after witnessing with his own eyes that the car was driving straight although the wheel was locked all the way to the left . The steering wheel became more and more heavy by the second . The mechanic told me that I should get my front calibers done with another trusted mechanic and get a battery from Walmart to save some money and once I make those changes everything should be fine. Since he is the professional, I trusted his guidance and tried to leave their parking lot . I drove down the block and all the lights on the dashboard came on and the wheel was too tight drive properly.
I came back to the dealership immediately. The mechanic then took my concern seriously and said that he would have to do another diagnostic to find the problem . They close early on Saturdays so he was preparing to go home , so they said they would call me on Monday . All I was thinking about was the fact that I could have drove this car on the highway and gotten in to a really bad accident.
I explained to Eleanor Gulla (the owner) that I was paying for a rental car as I was waiting for my car to be fix and that I should not be responsible for paying for any additional services that were not mentioned in the initial diagnostic . After analyzing the conversation at the end I asked her for a refund or to have my car repaired she declined to give me service or a refund .
Days went by and their General Manager Theon and their Service manager gave me a few calls to try to figure out what happened and to see if I would trade in my car or pay an additional $5,000 for non-guaranteed services . They were very polite , but their owner didnāt want to compromise.
I explained to the service manager that I was given an unsafe car to drive after it was supposed to be fixed and it did not come to this establishment in that condition. Anything could have happened to me . He understood and admitted that the car was not safe to drive because they found issues with the brakes after I brought my concern to them.
Fast forward to today 3/18/2025- I came to pick up my car with a tow truck because it was not safe to drive. However, the owner Eleanor Gulla did not release my keys to me because she was trying to force me to sign a paper that stated I refused services and that the car was unsafe to drive . This information on the paper was false and was never given to me. I never refused services . This was the game she wanted to play to cover her inadequacies .
I called the cops since her staff was instructed to keep my car keys until I signed . The Police came and effortlessly got my keys back and I eventually towed my car off of their lot .
I lost $3,200 and a car , and after all of that the last thing I thought I would experience was this , but this experience will help the next person before they step foot in this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience ever. I drove over 2 hrs, owner had the car even though they knew I was coming and had made arrangements w mgr. We waited about an hr for her to come w the car. I took a test drive, the owner took car again saying she wouod return the next day. I told her we were specifically there for that car and would not come back the next day, she promised to come back that day. We negotiated a deal, wanted my husband to drive, mgr said he had to leave early but owner would be back by 5. (3 1/2 hrs later) we went back for 5, owner not there. They said she was on her way, then they told us she would be back around 5:45 or so. Needless to say there were other used cars for her to use, didn't seem like she cared about customers or selling the car so we left upset. They also listed the car less than 2 weeks prior with 15,800 miles. The car had almost 19k. Next afternoon I called the mgr, he said he just heard and was going to call me but didn't. We made arrangements to go back next week. We sent the papers salesman requested and didn't have the title, salesman said we could get temp not a problem while they sent the title. The following week on Tuesday, the finance guy called we agreed on an extended warranty even though the car was certified. He was going to get back to us but then we had to wait until next day because of the extended warranty. Foligured we would go that day. He called back needing the papers we already sent. Called back again, same thing, at 3 called to tell us he needed a deposit so my husband gave a very small deposit because he said they should have gotten a deposit the week before (which i had brought a deposit week before but we left) . Then the finance guy calls back again yelling at us about title and saying we should know better regardless if what the sales gu told us, maybe different in CT. At 6:15 he called back and told us. They couldn't take the vehicle in trade because the car was only certified for 2 more days so we would have to sell it ourselves. I said what if we sign and wait the 7 to 10 days to get the title before we get the car, he sad nit possible. My husband asked about recertifying the car, he said there is no such thing as recertification. So I said what does that mean for the "wrap around" warranty. He was yelling. I said calmly. So tell me this, so if somebody buys the car without the certification what does that mean? He said we would have to pay $500 more for the extended warranty and instead of paying $100 deductible for service would pay $200 and instead of the warranty being good until 100k mi would only be good for 40k mi. So needless to say I said why didn't you tell us this before and found out they had really had the car since Oct. 2023 when they got it w 15, 800 miles and was being used by the family. He also said the daughter "should...

Had a 8am service appointment on 5/10/2021, and arrived at 7:45am as it was my first time at the dealership. Both entrances to the dealer were blocked, so I called to ensure I was entering the service bay through the correct entrance. The same lady who scheduled my appointment is who answered the phone and advised me the cars were going to be moved and stated I was in the correct entrance. Since I knew I was early, I parked directly in front of the service bay door, while leaving enough room for the staff to move vehicles around. At 8:01am I walked in through the service door while the lady who scheduled my appointment was walking out to smoke a cigarette (I recognized her voice once I said good morning) and she just proceeded to go about her business. Only one person was at one of the windows to the far right right before you enter the showroom floor. I advised her I was there for service, and she abruptly told me I had to wait outside until they were ready and went back on her cell phone. I went back to me car and waited. It is now 8:30am and another car pulls behind me and the couple walks towards the showroom floor entrance. I then see a gentleman and the lady who scheduled my appointment walk out the service door. The lady walked passed my on the driver side, and the gentleman walks up to my passenger side window. He asks me if I am there for service, and I stated yes, since 8am (mind you it is now 8:30am) He tells me I have to park the car to a side, and walk into the service department. I advised him that I did, and was told to wait outside, and he tells me to walk back into the service department and proceeds to walk away. As I get out of my car, I see the lady who scheduled my appointment peeping the car behind me to bring into the shop. I asked her why is that car getting ready to be serviced before mine, and she states it's not, I am getting the VIN# and mileage, and I stated yes, as that is the first step before you bring in a car. I then proceeded to walk back into service and again no one is at a window accept for the last to the far right still on her phone. I had to get her attention by stating excuse me, and she then responds "yeah". I advised her that she told me to wait outside for service, and I am now told to come in. The lady who scheduled my appointment storms into the middle window abruptly and shouts "come on come on" while also gesturing with her hands, almost as if I am waisting their time or somehow bothering them by being there asking for my Jeep to be serviced. Using my best judgment and the experience I just had, I decided to leave that dealership as I no longer trusted leaving my car there...
