American Eagle — Local services in Town of New Hartford

Went to this store with my son. We were the only 2 in the store when we came in. The associates (4 of them) were all standing at the checkout island conversing. My son found a few things to try on. We headed back to the dressing room area and stood there waiting for one of the associates to acknowledge us so they could unlock one of the dressing rooms. Finally, I was so aggravated after waiting a few minutes bc I know they saw us waiting there, I had to ask one of them to unlock a dressing room. After which, the young man went back to the checkout island saying "that was rude" to his counterparts. Then when we were ready to check out he directed us to his register where there were already pants on the counter that needed to be put away. So I just piled my sons items on top of them. The associate asked me if we wanted to buy the pants in the pile. Um no, dude that's your mess you couldn't even clear off the counter for our things. Apparently these guys and girls are too busy chatting to perform their jobs. Honestly, I won't be back. Good lesson for my 16 yo on customer...

Great quality jeans - if you can get them. I hate going into this store because I always feel like I’m bothering the employees and there’s very limited sizing options. I usually buy online and ship to the store because it’s free pickup, and just deal with it. Lately I’m faced with the shipping times being changed and then my order being completely cancelled. Coming directly from customer support - “sometimes the site can oversell items and that would cause the order to be canceled.” Of course then when you try again everything is...

They might as well close this location The employees are always standing around talking amongst themselves. They have very limited selection. Sometimes it would be nice to just run to the store and grab a pair of jeans and go, instead of having to order online and wait. The quality of the clothing isn’t what it used...
