Manny's Art Supplies — Local services in Town of New Paltz

I’ve been shopping here since I was practically a kid. This store is the main retail shop in New Paltz and is at the core of the town. Recently, this store has improved to perfection. I stopped shopping here as my main source of supplies because they used to carry the same items and never got anything new. As an artist, I want variety and value. I shopped online as the other supply store in town is rude and expensive with minimal supplies. Over the last few years the store has staff that’s actually incredibly knowledgeable and helpful which is something they never had. There’s a young man and a young woman who always help me and I started coming here again specifically for their help. The prices are incomparable and often cheaper than online. Whoever is buying for the store has changed the game for me too. They started focusing on and hilighting their ART supplies rather than office supplies that you can buy anywhere and novelty junk. Their art selection is so vast now and the shop is clean and well maintained. Bravo for making me a new loyal customer again. I can not say enough great things about Manny’s Art Supply! Since new owners, Zack and Amanda took over, the selection of professional and crafting supplies has exploded with numerous selections. Their creativity is abounding and sprinkled throughout the whole entire store, from the in store made vinyl cut printed Manny’s art supply t-shirts, greeting cards, journals, and mugs to the beautiful homemade watercolors is amazing. I absolutely love this store! Excellent selection of markers, paints, brushes, and canvas. They also have a vast variety of paper (decorative, pastel, print making, watercolor, so many!) and my 9 year-old son really enjoyed his mystery goodie bag. It’s also a great spot for gift shopping. They have beautiful hand made items all created by local artists, like tote bags, t- shirts, soaps, stationary, as well as great children’s gifts, like toys, and fun arts and craft kits.
