– AT&T Carle Place Store (08/21/2025)
Today I visited the AT&T store in Carle Place to correct the name on my phone account and request copies of three older bills. I was assisted by Zen, who was very attentive and willing to help. It was clear that he is still in training, as he asked questions to a more experienced colleague. Unfortunately, that colleague showed a complete lack of professionalism — he was rude not only to us as customers, but also to Zen himself.
When Zen reached out to Adam for support, the experience completely turned around. Adam and Zen worked together (over the phone) and were both very polite, respectful, and professional. Thanks to them, my issue was resolved.
It’s also worth mentioning that before going to the store, I had already spent more than an hour on the phone with Jessica (611). Oddly enough, the rude employee in the store claimed that the phone representative had given me “incorrect information” and insisted that “they don’t make copies of bills.” This comment was unnecessary and unhelpful.
In summary: • Positive: Zen and Adam, who truly represented the company well with their patience and professionalism. • Negative: the rude, unprofessional attitude of one senior employee, who clearly needs retraining on how to treat both customers and colleagues.
Thanks to Zen’s dedication (with Adam’s support), my issue was resolved — but unfortunately, the negative behavior of one employee left me with a...
Read moreMy fiancé was a T-Mobile customer who was looking to merge with me and add his line onto my existing AT&T plan. We were both also in the market to upgrade our existing phone models. Before deciding to walk into a brick and mortar shop, we had done our own research online on the process of adding a line and AT&T’s services. We thought we were knowledgeable enough to know exactly what we had to ask for when we visited a store.
We visited this AT&T branch on Saturday 05/15 and were greeted by Andre. We told him right off the bat what we were there for, but Andre gave us different options to save us our effort and money. As a salesman, he was not pushy and he presented us with facts, numbers and information to let us independently decide for ourselves what we wanted. He was patient and took the time to explain to us the different services, as well as phone models. We did not feel like we were being rushed at all - Andre was patient as my fiancé had a slight hiccup trying to release his line from T-Mobile, and also as it took about 40 minutes for data transfer from my old phone to my new phone. We left the store as happy customers feeling like we were not swindled. We walked away very satisfied with the customer service and with the products we purchased.
The space itself is very clean, bright and spacious. All the employees wore masks and there were plenty of hand sanitizers for use at different stations.
A big thank...
Read moreFairly certain AT&T does not train anyone who works at their stores. Had incredible issues at Hicksville location, they messed up a promo I had and they snuck some nonsensical $25/mo tech insurance thing in there, but they’re apparently a franchise and this is a corporate location.
I recently went here and spoke to them about my promo issues and getting things sorted. I walked in and was approached by a shorter woman, don’t know her name, but I had $800 promo trade in and wanted to pay my phone off what was left. Apparently, if I was to do that, those $800 in credits would’ve gone out the window and I couldn’t get my trade-in phone back. None of this was divulged prior to this moment and I’ve been on the phone and in this store multiple times (probably a full workday at this point). This woman just goes on repeat, saying I can pay it off but those credits are gone then and she offers no signs of assistance or explanation…simply that.
I called customer service and spoke to Felix, much more helpful than her. He actually looked into my profile and found that if I pay off early those credits will be applied to future bill payments and will not go to waste. I have a slight sense of reprieve, but I’m still stuck with them if I don’t want to waste money. All this to say, don’t trust the stores if you’re with AT&T already and if you’re not with them go elsewhere, mint looks good and they use...
