GameStop — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

It's not the cleanest game stop I've been to and they don't seem to ever answer the phone when I called. Which I did repeatedly call for them for the 27 minute drive to the store.

But with all those negatives out of the way once I was there the staff were incrediblely helpful. I was looking for an item that there computer said they only had one left in stock of. Most stores would just say if it's not out there it's probably sold already. I had infact looked where they pointed me to so I said I already looked there.

The Manager who I wish I took there name cause they were so helpful, he actually came to the section with me and moved around quite a few pegs worth of items until he found what I was looking for. I was very greatful cause from what there website said this was the last of this item on Long Island.

Definitely recommend coming here cause of the very friendly staff and they also didn't try to upsell me on any memberships or preorders like...

I recently came by this store. Although the location cannot allow customers into the store. I waited outside the store and I believe the store manager, Drew was helping me out. I observed this gentleman running around in the store all by himself. I was outside with a couple customers and I felt that they were a bit rude to him. Drew could not have handled them any better, he was so kind and accommodating, despite their rudeness.. He had an amazing attitude and was extremely knowledgeable. I never spoke to anyone in my life as helpful as this fella. If you ever have any needs or questions, just ask for Drew, he will Definitely make the Best recommendations. I come here often and its a hit or miss with the employees but BIG shout out to the whoever was working Monday. I came in, I have had the worst luck with Pokemon card collecting, I had not been able to get a single pack in a long time. After a long exhausting day at work. I came in, and asked if they had any cards. Usually they say No disgruntingly even if sometimes I see a box behind the counter. But he asked if I was looking for anything specific but I just wanted something to add to my collection and he was super helpful with the choices. Thank you again to whoever was working.
