Schwartz Candies — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

Tucked into an off the main road strip mall with plenty of parking, Schwartz is a cute mom and pop chocolate shop that has plenty of variety. Basically I needed a chocolate fix but wanted something from a specialized store, and Schwartz did not dissappoint. Staff were friendly, place was clean, and lots of customized or prepacked options. Chocolate tasted fresh, not generic or off tasting. My favorites were the chocolate covered marshmallows and chocolate covered cashews. Cost was $10-15 for half a pound but that was plenty of chocolate. Would definitely come back here for a sweet fix or during the holidays...

Very friendly and accommodating service. They didn't have exactly what I wanted pre-ackaged, so they made it up customized for me on the spot. I bought dark chocolates for my wife for Valentine's day, 'cause that's all she really likes.
