New location currently going through its growing pains as a fresh start up. At the time of this review there are 3 different payment requirements to play all of the games offered. Some of the games require a wrist band, which allows for unlimited play for one hour. Some games require tokens, and others require quarters. Tokens are 4 per $1. It’s a little confusing, and at times annoying to have to juggle between it all. The management assured me that this was all temporary as there is a plan to potentially convert everything to a token based system. This would greatly simplify things, and I welcome the idea.
The vintage style arcade has a nostalgic line up of games that are smartly laid out in the limited space available to them. All of the games that we played were in good working order and in remarkably good shape considering their age. But amid the swirl of fun and chaos and color and sound, I left my sunglasses behind and the arcade closed for the evening. We had to leave town early the next morning before they opened, and they were kind enough to find my glasses when I called and even mail them to me.
