My son and I every summer (since he was 10 years old and over the last 18 years) go visit Major League Baseball stadiums around the country - as a side note we are avid NY Yankee Fans. This summer we went to Oracle Park to see the Giants and The Oakland Coliseum to see the A's. No matter what stadium/park we go to, we always bring home an 18" mini bat representing the home team. Since this is the last season the A's will play at The Oakland Coliseum, we really wanted to bring an Oakland Athletics mini bat home,. To our surprise and disappointment, there were no mini bats to be found anywhere in the team pop-up stands and team shop/store in the stadium. The mini bat was also sold out at MLBShop and The National Baseball Hall of Fame Shop After trying to find the Oakland A's 18" mini bat for several days, there was only ONE shop/place that I was able to locate - that was, "Where It All Began Bat Company" located in Cooperstown NY. I spoke to Bruce at WIAB and after telling him the story of my annual visits to stadiums and that I couldn't find this particular mini bat - Bruce was so nice and pleasant, he appreciated our love for baseball and was so gracious to help me continue my mini bat collection (which I always purchase three (3) - one for my son and we bring home two others for my daughters). When Bruce said he said happily that it was at his store - he made our day! I look forward to my next visit to Cooperstown and I will definitely go to the "Where It All Began Bat Company" store on Main Street to personally thank Bruce and to give him a hug! Thank you, Bruce and "Where It All Began Bat Company" - you are the BEST! - Sal A

Get your balls engraved here. They have the best font and set up anywhere and priced the same as others.

During our visit to play at Cooperstown 12u Baseball Tournament this past June 2019, my son hit several home runs! One of the parents told us we could get the Baseballs engraved in downtown Cooperstown, in which we found Where It All Began Bat Company. We bought a personalized wooden bat and had my sons 3 home run baseballs engraved and encased beautifully!! Once we got back home to South Carolina, my son played in a travel ball tournament in which he hit several more home runs. After searching for a local company here in South Carolina that could engrave my son’s baseballs for a reasonable price and encase them ,we could not find anyone local to accommodate our engraving request. Ironically, I thought maybe “Where it All Began” could help us out! I made a phone call to Where It All Began Bat Company and sent them an email of my request. I shipped the baseballs to them back in Cooperstown, NY and they took care of my request!!! Bruce and the staff at Where it All Began Baseball Company are awesome, very professional and the turn around time and communication is top notch!! Their prices are very reasonable and their engraving work is outstanding! They definitely hit it...

As always, I would like to thank Bruce and the staff at WIAB for an exception job on engraving one of my son’s special baseballs. I’ve used them several times and each time, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful, and the end results was more than I could ever imagine. It’s a stress-free process and they make the designing and returning the finished product as easy and quick as possible. They take the extra effort to review your request, make suggestions on what would look best and then, submit a design for your approval or to edit. They understand how important these lifetime memories are and treat each project like it was their own. I can’t say enough about the quality and care that goes into each request and I highly recommend them and will always use them for my son’s...
