This shop is a cool little place. I went in and asked for the hottest hot sauce they had. They directed me to the mad dog 357 bullet series. The guy told me it was 4 million scoville units. Boy was I misled. I bought the sauce, trusting his judgement. Apparently it was only 600,000 scoville units. He probably told me that just to sell it. It also cost me about 40 bucks. I found the same sauce online for only 15. I don't recommend this place. It's a tourist trap and way overpriced. Also, the staff lied to me. Just don't go here...

The clerk has a quiet demeanor, is knowledgeable about hot sauces, and I have no idea why he works there. What does he do when there are no costomers? I don't know if I could do it, just hanging out with rows of hot sauce. No prices in the store… the owner asked me to pay cash, so to support a small business, I did - which was a mistake because he made up prices on the spot, $15 for their house hot sauce (3 for $45…….), down the road at local stores and farm stands (also on their site) go for $10/$11.
