Edit: I just experienced some very unprofessional behavior from the real estate division of this company.

I first want to stress that the hardware staff and indeed the person in question have all been polite to me.

However, I was looking for a place to live and one of the managers offered me an apartment that was going to be available. Time passed and I spoke to him several times and each time he assured me that it was going to be mine, but there were problems that needed to be fixed before it could be rented.

Another person, who was not informed of our agreement rented the place. I get that miscommunications happen, and I would have been upset, but understood. The problem is that I was not informed. Weeks passed while I waited to hear about the place, and I finally called to ask what the deal was, when I was told "Oops, we rented it."

Again, if I had been informed of the mistake, I would not be writing this,...

This past Saturday we took on a major painting job that required scaffolding in the dining room. We rented what we needed from H. Houst & Son and it was delivered when promised.
