Tinker Street Cinema — Local services in Town of Woodstock

I love small, quirky, independent cinemas; so it was a real treat to drive past this place while driving from the bustling area of Woodstock to Bearsville... We doubled back for the 7:00 PM screening of Harold & Maude (I think they alternate between new films and revivals, but not certain). Had a great time. There is so much to love about the Tinker Street Cinema - the decor, the candy selection, the popcorn (with real butter!), the unique programming, the friendly staff, the pre-show entertainment, the occasional organ performance, the sense of community - but what ties it all together is that it is run by people who care deeply about what they do. We don't get up to Woodstock nearly as much as we'd like, but we make sure to attend a show every time and are proud to...

I love this movie theater. I love this town, but this movie theater is a gem among gems in the area. I loved the intimate feel of this place.
