I loved seeing this store on a night walk by myself upon arriving into Woodstock for my very first time. It seemed so full of magic and earnest artistry from the glowing windows. I looked forward to meeting the owner and learning more about the vision that brought this place to life.
However, I never made it inside during my 3 years of living in Woodstock; as my first experience with the shop owner was just outside her business's front doors. She was dismissive, arrogant, and strangely competitive...despite my being a complete stranger meeting her for the first time.
I never went in thereafter and had no interest in pursuing any relations further; be that casual, professional, or as a patron. It is confusing to be greeted into a new community with hostility and contempt by someone who is established and supposedly confident in...

I was genuinely hoping it was a mistake and had faith in humanity, but when I brought it up to her, she was very rude and said I should just go buy it at H&M then. I even shared that the tag is still on it and disclosed I was interested in the bag, and only then did she say maybe there was a mistake but chose not to do anything. I noticed a lot of the handbags don’t have tags in them, but she’s charging $100-500 for many of them. I wonder if she cuts tags and up charges so please please double check before you make your purchase! Or just avoid because ewww her ethics...
Read moreThis shop is very special, the owner Heather gets how to create trend setting looks, and finds beautifully crafted and colored fashion pieces that are fun to shop through! Her boots are stellar (my first find here were Italian lace up vintage 80's Tecnica ski boots, a show stopper every time I wear them!). As a NYC fashion designer this is definitely my favorite clothing store in Woodstock, I have found amazing pieces here. Heather is also a wonderful person, supports local designers and craftsmen, and is very plugged in to the local vibe which influences her curated collections and window displays. Anyone who loves fashion and beautiful textiles would...
