To parents and single moms thinking of joining:
They could improve on their policies. I bought the Intro 4 class pack. An hour before the 4th class, I messaged them and said I'd be running late (they have a 5 minute late policy where they lock doors if you are 6 minutes late) I told them my sons father who comes from bellingham to get my son for his weekend missed his ferry. I then asked, is it OK to bring my 6 year old to class and have him wait in waiting room until his dad gets here? they said I'll have to miss class until his dad arrives. His dad then informed me he would be at least 30 minutes late (so I'd miss half of class) I asked them if I could please do a make up class? my friend and I want to buy a membership but really want to finish the intro first. so happy I did not buy membership before I got their response to asking to do a make up class for the child emergency I had going on that was completely out of my hands. they said, no. & I wasn't even asking for a refund. I wouldn't. I know they are just starting out. just wanted to get my moneys worth, the class that I already paid for- just wanted to make it up later (told them I was totally flexible to when as well- if there was room in the class) still response was NO. With their lack of compassion responses and strict policies that even when there is an emergency there is no make up classes - they lost 2 members. it's very unfortunate. so I'd warn any parents or single moms, that this is not an ideal club to be apart of unless you are ok with having children emergencies (which happen on occasion- neither of them have kids so maybe thats where their lack of understanding comes from) You will lose your money. Was so excited to be a member but not a club I'd want to be apart of. No warmth. Who knows how else they handle...
Read moreStudio K has truly been life changing for me. I’m so grateful that this studio was my introduction to pole dancing, because I’ve since learned that not all studios are the same. Studio k especially shines at fostering a sense of belonging for everyBODY and very obviously values community. Their instructors have heart, and it truly feels like a place where everyone can lean into their own expression of what pole dancing brings to them. Studio k has helped me form a new, healthier relationship with my body and helped me lean into my own definition of feminine energy. I’ve been to a few different studios since starting pole a year ago, but there’s truly no place like studio K. This studio will always have a piece of my heart and I’m so grateful for...
Read moreAbsolutely in love with this studio ever since starting learning pole dance about a month ago. Intro classes are wonderful, starting new dancers at a comfortable pace that will work for all experience levels. Regular Level 1 classes after completing intro have been wonderful, with a variety of techniques explored in different classes to keep learning interesting. It's the people that truly make this studio amazing, though. Instructor Courtney teaches an exciting, constructive, and comfortable Level 1 class that has been wonderful for expanding my knowledge of pole and building my skills. I've seen results SO fast, and I'm thankful for all the wonderful friends I've met through Studio K! Hoping to stay with this studio for a...
