Showed up to visit for the first time, was stoked as the entrance has drawn my eye each time Iāve passed while driving. Finally had time to stop in, went on a day google and door hours posted show hours of operation to be 1-6. Waited about 20-25 mins in the rain, ended up leaving to go to another shop. Iād called prior to leaving but there is no answering machine, and then messaged on Facebook as there were no notices of changed hours. When I got to the next shop, I received a message back from the owner, starting off with āThanks for the bad review on google.ā
At that time, I had not posted any review. I did let the owner know this, we had further short exchange and I did advise that this is a common complaint as I took a moment to scroll through previous reviews. The owner blocked me, which may be a personal deal but I find that to be a bit rude/unprofessional.
Posting review now and screenshot of initial convo for reference.
Life definitely is unpredictable and thatās understandable, however it seems consistent that the hours are not followed, and owner can be often rude. I have no insight to the items inside, however based on this experience, I will not return.
There are plenty of spots to go that have authentic treasures, professional and kind owners/staff, and are reliable to their posted hours or updating the hours in advance when life throws a curveball. Iād recommend steering clear...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSome of my absolute favorite items of clothing I purchased here. This store is small, yet packed with so much cool stuff. Itās by no means a huge fancy thrift store - itās a /real/ vintage clothing store. And the items range from menās & womenās vintage designer clothes, super cool shoes, 1950s style hats, awesome graphic t-shirts, and beautiful accessories. Walking into the store feels a bit like stepping back in time. So far I have purchased 6 graphic tees & 2 pairs of vintage pants (mid-late 70s?). The pants are so comfy/cool, and the t-shirts have a nice feel to them, with funny/interesting graphics. Every garment has a story! & the women at the counter was calm & friendly. The store is packed full with items, so you could definitely find something to suit you. The prices were also very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a cute shop with two rooms and lots of items. Your best bet if you want to visit is to CALL CHRISTINE FIRST before you even get in your car or start heading there to make sure she's in. I called around 1:30pm and got no answer. She called back to inform me when she would be in. She owns the building and operates the store herself. She's very honest about if an item is fake/faux or real. The sizing isn't fantastic but lots of vintage clothing wasn't size inclusive anyway. Some items are overpriced but you can still find a few reasonably priced gems as well. Lots of men's, women's, some lingerie, sleep wear, purses, jewelry, hats, etc. A good variety, It's...
