I was purchasing patio furnishing pillows. I was prepared tonpay 300.00 dollars worth in my cart. I needed one pillow left to complete my set. It was perched on the top on the top shelf, 10 ft in the air, of course, I could not reach. I asked for help from a worker, they ignored. Then a manager walked past me with a pencil behind his ear, I asked him if he worked there. He smiled big at me and walked away. I knew he heard me because he smiled big and looked straight at me and kept walking. After this distespectful treatment, was I ever ticked. The workers and the manager were too busy to give me any service. I needed help. I am the customer and the staff gets paid to serve us, me, the customer. Evidently, they forget the purpose of their mission, which is service to me, their customer. I was ticked after the manager blew me off. I was done! I tossed all of the ten pillows I had in my cart back, and walked out of the store empty handed. I drove to Lowes and bought my pillows there for a less expensive price and zero grief, the service at Lowes was respectful, helpful and cordial.l have shopped at the At Home store many times and spent about 300.00 on each visit. Lucky for me all those other times I never needed help. I may never be willing to go back there again with such horrible service, or I should say non-existant service. In the photo, the group in the back of the photo were going around talking to one another, laughing, and ignoring me. The guy in the forfront of the photo was actually busy workingbthe rest slackers. Oh yeah, management, their cell phone was hidden under the pillows. You really need to keep an eye on your employees. I even went right by them to pick up a torch with a long pole attached, so maybe I could knock the pillow off the shelf that I needed. This has got to be one of the most frustrating and exasperating store visits, I've ever experienced. After writing the full experience down. I know now, I will not be going there to purchase anything ever again! Shop there, and make sure you go there prepared to recieve nothing but the merchandise you are able to pick off the lower shelves for...
Read moreThank you for having us Tucson; we are definitely excited to be here !
Just a couple of PSA insights as one of the managers from inside the store:
We are a “self-help, warehouse” business model. While we are at work, our leaders and associates that could be there at any given time are busy bringing you the most affordable assortment of items you can think of so we are not ALWAYS on the floor or available to help you look for something specific.
It’s not that we don’t want to help !
Not even we know all that we offer off the top of our heads because it’s a BIG store with A LOT of items.
WE ARE ALL NEW, we are still learning every day. Please be patient !
Rule of thumb is: If you don’t see what you’re looking for, we don’t have it.
What we have in our inventory is all out and ready to be shopped, we do not have a back-stock.
Going off #3, as of right now you are NOT able to order anything offline, we cannot place personal orders, and we cannot do transfers from other stores.
Our blue mattress carts, black art carts, and grey flat beds (for furniture) are ALL available for our customers to use.
Ladders are for the use of employees only so if anything is too high or too heavy please ask for assistance !
Inventory that shows on our website is NOT ALWAYS RIGHT
We offer BOTH our own credit card as well as free loyalty rewards so please inquire how you could save money !
Our store is a treasure hunt so HAVE FUN ! And THANK YOU for...
Read moreI was there this past weekend 9/24/2022. Thought I loved this store, but after this weekend I won’t be going back. I was excited to see a 50% off tag on the patio cushions. They had the ones I really wanted for a while. The tag said $29.99 ON ALL THE CUSHIONS and then a 50% off tag on the other side. I get to the register and the cashier tells me that they are $39.99 not the $29.99. I told her no ma’am the tag states that they are $29.99 with a 50% off coupon. I showed her the tag she tells me no I’m not doing it for the $29.99 because we’re changing prices. Well this is and was very disappointing to me and I feel that it’s false advertising. As a store it should provide signs stating of their changes especially on prices or remove the original price and put your new price. I walked out without my cushions and very discouraged. I will not return to this store as the cashier was rude as hell and they are false advertising their items. Just an FYI people the price tags are not what you will pay at the register so pay attention at check out. Also associates of the store are rude as hell when you tell them that it’s false advertising and that is not right they are supposed to sell the item for the price it is marked or post signs stating of this supposed change. Very disappointed in this store when I was once an...
