For most bibliophiles, myself included, a visit to Barnes & Noble is a leisurely event--wandering the aisles with a caffeinated beverage in hand, checking emails in the café, or reading a couple chapters of a book even without buying it. Unfortunately, that sort of immersive experience is not possible at this location. The initial enthusiasm I felt over having a bookstore in Tucson Mall was diminished upon noticing the cramped aisles & lack of B & N amenities--no restrooms or places to sit (I would have included the lack of a café if not for the Starbucks a few paces away). If you find yourself with an insatiable craving for books at Tucson Mall & absolutely cannot go elsewhere, this store will do in a pinch. Read moreThis breathes life into this old and tired Mall. However, they've crammed too many books into this little space. It is cramped. There's not enough air movement it is stuffy. Granted we got there a couple of days after the grand opening. The selection was diverse and if you wanted to find something that's kind of off the beaten trail you won't find it here. Overall a great atmosphere and book addition in tucson.
