I’ve brought three different Galaxy S23 Ultras to Gamers Warehouse for repairs, and after my experiences, they’ve permanently lost my business. What should’ve been straightforward phone repairs turned into a nightmare of upselling, poor workmanship, and shady record-keeping. 1. Lost Camera Purchase ($80 Gone) I paid $80 for a new camera module after they told me my original one was dead. When I reset my phone, the camera worked again, so I told them to hold the part for later. Six months later when I actually needed it, they suddenly had “no record” of my purchase. Funny how they lost the camera, but not my money. 2. Upselling & Shady Pricing Every time I go in for a screen repair, they try to tack on extras: back glass, batteries, “connectors” — all framed as “deals” that are actually just their base prices. One time they tried to claim black was the only back cover available until I pushed back, and suddenly purple appeared. The upselling feels manipulative, not professional. 3. Poor Craftsmanship A “new” battery they installed barely holds a charge. My phone came back with huge gaps along the edges where it wasn’t sealed properly. After spending $300+ on another repair, that phone stopped charging after a 2-foot drop — the exact same issue I had with a previous repair at this same shop. Meanwhile, I once dropped a different S23 Ultra from a second-story building, and it survived. That tells me it’s their workmanship, not Samsung’s design. 4. Terrible Customer Service Promised a Saturday drop-off would be ready Monday, but then strung me along until Tuesday. My phone is essential for work, and this cost me time and stress. When I returned with issues, the guy asked me three times for a receipt, even though I explained I didn’t have it. For a business that claims to keep work orders, they sure misplace a lot — except for the money I paid. --- Bottom Line Gamers Warehouse is quick to take your money, slow to fix your phone, and their repairs don’t last. Between the lost $80 part, upselling games, shoddy craftsmanship, and runaround service, I can confidently say this place does not value its customers. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. 9/27/25 **UPDATE** Ever since I got the screenshot replaced by these people, its never worked they same, they RUINED my phone, I have to turn the phone screen on and off repeatedly for it to sense my touch, this happens on BOTH phones. I dont know what they did but one of the phones has a hard time maintaining battery health (after its been replaced) and constantly has issues with maintaining service with the towers (including delays messages, signal strength drop/failure, network reset delays). I cant stress this enough, this is TERRIBLE craftsmanship, overpriced products, overpriced repair, and subpar delivery on promises and quality. You'll never receive another penny from me.

What a hidden gem in the mall! Unfortunately, the mall was closing when we visited, so we missed out on trying the games we’ll definitely visit next time. David was an awesome guide, like a little video arcade curator. If you haven’t been here, you should definitely stop in. They have a great selection of both new and old video games, and the treasures are hidden in the back of the store. What a fantastic place!

Not sure how they keep the doors open with their ridiculous prices. Maybe it’s the no refund quarters eating broken arcade section?

Poor Craftsmanship

A “new” battery they installed barely holds a charge.

Terrible Customer Service

Promised a Saturday drop-off would be ready Monday, but then strung me along until Tuesday. My phone is essential for work, and this cost me time and stress.

When I returned with issues, the guy asked me three times for a receipt, even though I explained I didn’t have it. For a business that claims to keep work orders, they sure misplace a lot — except for the money I paid.

Bottom Line

Gamers Warehouse is quick to take your money, slow to fix your phone, and their repairs don’t last. Between the lost $80 part, upselling games, shoddy craftsmanship, and runaround service, I can confidently say this place does not value its customers.

Absolutely incompetent, overpriced, and buys for extremely UNDER the price limit.

First off, they have incompetent children working there. The person i was trying to sell to sat on his earbuds the whole time, waisted my time and did not communicate whatever. I don't care that he seemed to be mentally impaired, I cared that he had zero customer service whatever and refused to communicate with me because music was far more entertaining than his job.

The buyer refuses to haggle, and gives an extremely unreasonable underprice for your items, while selling the same item for hundreds of dollars more. I refused to sell and walked out. Sell to bookmans, at least they give you reasonable store credit.

I even tried to see if they could help me find a part, and they had no idea what i was even talking about despite selling said parts and systems! If you are going to hire someone, at least make sure you train them properly and demand they keep their phones off them when there is a literal transaction happening.

Everyone was so unprofessional, the store and merchandise extremely untaken care of, and prices ridiculous. I do...

I was in need of a new battery for my iPhone 14 PRO and Alex and his designated repair technician were EXACLTY THAT: ALL PRO! From the moment Alex answered the phone, to the in -store greeting, he was precise, super polite, friendly and efficient. Less than one hour later, the iPhone was ready and check this out: I wanted to return unrelated items to a different store in the Tucson Mall, but realized my only receipt was on my phone! It would be a perfect use of time to walk all the way across to the other end of the mall while I waited for my battery replacement. Alex immediately suggested I connect my phone to their air printer as he entered the passwords necessary to establish that connection. He printed two receipts for me (gratis, no less!) and I was on my way. People like Alex make doing business a pleasure and obviously I won't hesitate to return. Oh, the other benefit....the repair charge was 35% LESS than the other guys! Wow...thanks Alex! 10/10...
